No they don't and again trying to make a distinction without merit. What crime are you asserting the claimed lie was relevant to?

But we know did happen along with the the withholding of exculpatory evidence. Sullivan should have kicked it out of his court and charged the prosecutors at that point. And Sullivan is NOT an investigator or a prosecutor he is merely a judge. Again you do not understand the legal system if the United States.

It’s sad you think some RW opinion piece is more credible than the actual inspector general.

It as withdrawn before sentencing and the prosecutors have withdrawn the case, the judge has no standing to pursue it.

This was someone to represent the judge in the court because the prosecutors withdrew the case.

Withholding exculpatory evidence is prosecutorial abuse and violates the rights of the defendant and yes the defendant can withdraw his plea and especially in an agreement with the prosecutor and especially when prosecutorial abuse has been found and especially with the higher ups say the prosecutors should never have even brought the case forward.

Yes they did admit that exculpatory evidence was withheld after his attorney Powell found it after demanding ALL the evidence be turned over including what was withheld during discovery.

It's a shame this is all you have left? Did the IG have access to all the evidence including the agents FULL notes?

"The filing says FBI memos from early 2017 show the interviewers didn’t believe Flynn was an agent of Russia – the key question they had when they started investigating him. The documents also purportedly show that the agents who interviewed Flynn after getting transcripts of his calls with the ambassador didn’t think he was trying to lie.

“The FBI determined that General Flynn believed what he was telling the agents was the truth,” the filing says."
    https://www.detroitnews.com/story/n...how-misconduct-led-criminal-charge/112124824/

"Months before Michael Flynn was charged with the lying to agents, the FBI told the Justice Department the Trump national security adviser was "very open and forthcoming" in his interview and believed he was telling the truth about his contacts with Russia, according to long withheld government notes that sharply contrast with the criminal case Robert Mueller eventually filed.

FBI agents told senior DOJ officials at a Jan. 25, 2017 meeting that Flynn was “telling truth as he believed it” and that he "believe[d] that what he said was true," according to handwritten notes taken by then-Deputy Assistant Attorney General Tashina Gauhar that were belatedly turned over to Flynn's defense this month."
    https://justthenews.com/accountabil...ynn-bombshell-fbi-believed-he-was-forthcoming

The FBI shelved it after first ending the case declaring no crimes found and then taking the extraordinary and unlawful step to go and try to get him to lie and then failing. It was Mueller's team months later trying to find someone they could pressure into to testifying against Trump that the bogus case was reopened and the Mueller team began their attempts to extort Flynn.

And the DOJ and judge both found it wasn’t exculpatory

Lmao another blog! That isn’t what the notes said. They have been released! Try quoting them! They said he showed no signs of deception, but they knew he lied! Not even trumps DOJ tried to claim he didn’t lie, just that it didn’t matter.

The DOJ decides which evidence it will present no the judge.

And the DOJ agreed with Powell who forced them to turn over the evidence.

"He fired his longtime legal team and retained a new lawyer, who alleged that the government had withheld exculpatory evidence from him and that the FBI had mishandled his initial interview.

The Justice Department sided with Mr. Flynn and sought to withdraw the charges earlier this year, concluding that it didn’t believe it could win the case at trial—despite Mr. Flynn’s guilty plea."
    https://www.wsj.com/articles/justic...e-came-from-nonpublic-information-11597164701

And on top of that the FBI altered the evidence, changed dates on it.

Flynn's rights as a citizen and a defendant were grossly violated, that is exactly why Presidents and Governors have the power of the pardon. The justice system is not for aggrieving your personal grievances.

DOJ never claimed they withheld evidence, that was all kooky Powell. Judge found that claim to be BS also. Flynn lied to the fbi and he admitted it, under oath, multiple times. He also denied he was entrapped and never withdrew his guilty plea.

They agreed with here as I cited and determined he should not have been prosecuted from the getgo. And they have the notes of the true intent. So I'm still waiting what crime had been committed that the FBI sent agents over to interrogate Flynn? What was the suspicion and what in particular in that conversation was illegal? What was the predicate of the whole thing?

Man, ignorance of this case is astounding.

Why was he never charged with what started this case?

The gist of their argument is still "HE PLED GUILTY!" to an 'offense', that frankly was never committed and an offense that hurt no one even if it were committed. As I said previously, I hope Biden diplomats get the Flynn treatment, but I suspect not.

Yes they decided to ignore their own IG and lie about predicate. Sad the things Trump does for his criminal pals.
Why hasn’t Flynn withdrawn his plea or claimed he was entrapped? He knows those claims are BS!

LOL, the original charge was a Logan violation, the reason to prosecute him as suggested by Biden.

Ya see, that is the problem with Monday experts. This is such an easily identifiable artificial attempt to re-write so recent history and in that regard it is remarkable of itself. No plea has not been withdrawn, and the whole matter is still in the hands of Sullivan. The corrupt pardon is a new factor and I am unwilling to bet on how Sullivan will handle that. He might well say the whole sage is therefore rendered moot, and let it go. Or, he might finish the admirable job he was doing and that has the added bonus of allowing the people of the USA (and the World) to see in all its ignominy possible DOJ very nasty conduct, possible POTUS intervention in Courts, and possible Lawyer corruption. That is what I am after. Flynn just happens to be the very guilty rabbit caught in those spotlights.

You have Lawyer in your avatar but are so clueless about law or the constitution. Flynn was never found guilty of the charge that brought the case. Instead he was forced into a plea deal for a process crime after he spent 5 million and his family threatened with prosecution. I know, you think that is all fine and how government should treat a hero with an exemplary record but then you are the same kind that exemplifies Vindman.

No it wasn’t. He was never charged for that, nor does the IG say that was it. Try reading his report instead of listening to the criminals lawyer

Yes, I am Bush Lawyer. Quite a deliberate choice (with a twist) given I am here in a US Forum. I not not as clueless as you assert, but there is no point having a personal pissing contest with you.

He pled guilty under oath......but only twice.

It is you who assert he was forced into a plea deal. Not even Flynn asserts that....under oath.

Let me know when Vindman confesses under oath TWICE to a felony. That is what your lying 'hero' did. He lied to the FBI and worse, he lied to the VP and that meant the VP lied to you, the American people. Then, he attempts to withdraw 'lies' given to a Judge! Jayzuz, is that exemplary conduct, the work of a hero? I think not.
