Israeli ministers on Friday hailed US President Donald Trump's choice of hardliner John Bolton as his new national security advisor, a pick denounced by a senior Palestinian official. Trump on Thursday announced that Bolton, a former United Nations ambassador and arch-hawk, would be replacing embattled army general HR McMaster in the key position. Bolton is known for his strong support for Israel and his hostility to the Jewish state's key foe Iran, and once said the idea of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is dead. Netanyahu has stated that there will be NO deal with Palestine while he is in office. He's got his solution - ethnic cleansing of the entire West Bank. He's got his backing - the US protects Israel from all international action against this heinous crime. Bolton will only ratchet up the Israeli war on Gaza that has been ongoing for a decade and the speed of the bulldozers smashing the property of Palestinian citizens. When we support war against Gaza and ethnic cleansing against Palestine, I think it is WAY more than reasonable to expect our flag to be burned. No, there absolutely IS ethnic cleansing going on in West Bank. The only real "support" issue is that we block all attempts by the world to move toward a resolution of the criminal behavior of Israel and the end to the conflict there. Our stupendously one sided aid effort just demonstrates a part of that. Our aid to Israel can not be compared in ANY dimension to our aid to Palestine - dollars, military force, food, human rights, international relations, whatever. There is absolutely no comparison that shows anything but monumentally one sided support. Your suggestions about Islam are just plain ignorance.
