I noticed he keeps flags from each branch in the Oval Office. Its all about respect. He respects the Military and they respect him.

I don't think she was intended to be part of the official shot. I think Trump is talking questions and a photographer continued to take photos. The intent was to show the military flags.

it isn't that he is necessarily a "good guy", but that he is just a guy. he isn't putting on airs to impress the electorate or even foreign heads of state. he's a rich sob, but he's shown he can be just as crude and common as anyone else and that bugs the crap out of those who have invested so much energy into impressing on us all how superior our governing elite is to the rest of us. we like to pretend that our elected officials are somehow immune to the lesser aspects of our shared humanity, even though we know perfectly well that most high profile politicians spend more time erasing their warts and missteps from the public record than actually learning how to be better, more responsive public servants.
That's what I mean. He's just a guy. A normal guy. Who has said things and done things that any one of us has done. People upset he would skim on his taxes if it's legal? Of course, we all would (waiting for the first 'I love paying taxes' comment). He said he grabs chicks *******? He's rich, what do you expect? Acting like rappers or athletes don't say the same ****. Girls throwing themselves at you 24/7... yeah. He's just a normal guy. Not a politician. He's a down to earth, normal human being. Politicians being charged with crimes and bring exposed in extra martial marriages all the time, but none of that is important.

Well I don't know any past US Pres, that put more trust in Russia than our intellingence services. That said, anything to make a dig, and you wonder why there is civil discontent, it is people that promote civil discontent , I suggest you look in the mirror. What Pres Trump did was very nice and polite as we all should, but instead, as RWers do these days, it is immediately turned into political ammunication.
