OMG, Who was 18 a decade ago, and what revision of views about the Justice System have happened, does "she" (the only she I quoted) believe she should have been impeached along with Obama for the cowardice in the face of the enemy?

Yes, I go home and take my mask off, just like Trump, oh, wait, no, I take my mask off (if I wore one instead of just the helmet in a store...) when I reach my bike, I take it off, put it away, wash my hands either with the soap and water or hand sanitizer, get my groceries on the bike, then clean my hands again. Go home, without mask, like Trump, but better than him I'm on a bike and don't have to ride in a cage, I take stuff in, wash hands, put stuff up, wash hands. And then enjoy my home without mask just like Trump.

 

"Afraid" for myself? No. I think I very likely had COVID-19 in late May that I would almost certainly have picked up in the hospital.

 

What "attitude?" 3M is very protective of its patents and product approvals.

We need N95 and better masks to protect people, not just masks we wear to protect others.

I didn't get tested right away because my symptoms were mild. By the time I became convinced I probably had COVID-19, the symptoms had gone away and I wanted to make sure I didn't have it before I stopped self-isolating.

 

Aren't anti-body tests available to see if you've had it?

I provided a link to two companies other than 3M for a reason. I could have posted multiple links to other masks equivalent to N95 (N95 is a standard not owned by 3M) that aren't made by 3M, and made ALL OVER THE WORLD. The patent of 3M is meaningless to States manufacturing N95 mask equivalents, that might have multiple layers or look all different, in a State owned enterprise, because they have universities, and smart people and industry like Cummings...

What we needed were reusable masks FOR EVERYONE that are equivalent, not masks they had to call the retired inventor up to try and figure ways to reuse them:

The problem is instead of blaming Trump or 3M for the speck, look at the beam in the State's own eyes.

Instead of sitting on the ass whining about what the FED is doing, now while people spread virus in the cold for lack of ability to open the door and ventilate, where are the air purifiers that exchange a room's air at a rate that makes catching it from a loved one less likely? Did anyone even think about it?

They complain about Trump going home, excuse me, everyone is going home in the Frozen North for a potential surge in poorly ventilated spaces they can't ventilate without busting pipes or something, so quit whining and go get States up North to figure out how to live with Covid indoors...

 

The virus doesn't last forever on items, there is like a changing list, and it's really about paying attention to touching your eyes and picking your nose with dirty hands. It's been several months since I had whatever-it-was and even if it turns out I have some coronavirus antibodies I could still get it again and spread it. What do I gain by knowing the answer?

 

I dunno. You go past anyone with COVID-19 so fast on a bike, I don't see how riding is a problem.

 

We need a lot more high-quality respirators, free to poor people, if we want to cut transmission without having to shut down parts of the economy. 3M and other manufacturers have blocked producers from making masks. We should be using the Defense Production Act to get the stuff made. We've wasted months not getting it done.

We're on the same page on what we need.

Joe American doesn't seem to be thinking a lot. When I see people with their mask half off, their nose sticking out above it, I have to wonder. Trump and Biden put their hands all over the mask, stuff it in their pocket, and leave me wondering just how contaminated their pockets are.

People go inside in all fifty states at night in the winter.

 

Aren't scientists confident that infection provides significant protection? Otherwise how can we even be THINKING about reaching herd immunity?
