Indeed, citing absolutely no evidence nor specifics, the president says that China does not want “me or us” to win because he is doing so awesome on trade and stood up to them. True? "They do not want me or us to win because I am the first president ever to challenge China on trade," Trump said. "We are winning on trade. We are winning at every level. We don't want them to meddle or interfere in our upcoming election."
Let's see if he orders a STAND DOWN like Obama's administration did, in the face of Russian Interference.
While I agree this is ridiculous nonsense, China is putting the same effort into getting a person in office who will work the way they want. Exactly like Russia, or Germany, France, England, Israel, Iran, SA...... you get the point. The Democrats argument of Russia Colluison has been a joke that had actually done Dems more harm than good. If Trump is trying to do this in mockery of Dems then so be it, actually pretty funny. If he truly believes this, he is an idiot ....

There could very well be Chinese meddling into American society. (That what we used to call espionage.) And this is not Trumps brainchild. This has probably gone on for decades. It's is what so-called superpowers like China or Russia attempt to do. And the question always is; what kind of spying are they up to? The second part of Trumps remarks I find much more troubling. First of all, this trade war has only been going on for a few months. (At least in the form of Trump throwing raised tariffs at countries like China.) Now Trump wants us to believe that the Chinese have decided, all of a sudden, to retaliate by disrupting the mid term American elections...? In my opinion this simply doesn't sound credible. Or rather; Trump doesn't sound credible. (Again.) 'They do not want me or us to win because I am the first president ever to challenge China on trade'. Here's a whiny old man talking, angry he is being withheld his supper. I put it to you this is NOT a statement that came from some classified document that exposes China cheating on American politics. This line came from Trumps rotten brain because he is, actually, NOT winning this trade-war. Thus his total make-belief retaliation. I sense that Trump is absolutely NOT BEING INFORMED about anything a President should know, security wise, about opposing nations. And for obvious reasons. Therefore, half of what Trump says is guesswork or totally made up. Or, as demonstrated, just an angry rant. If you think about, it's kind of sad.
He is accusing China of meddling in the election because China opposed and retaliated against his decision to impose tariffs on billions of Chinese imports. WHY WON'T THEY JUST ROLL OVER AND "LET HIM DO IT?!"
