    WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Donald Trump has reached a groundbreaking deal with the Hawaiian Islands to make them the nation’s fiftieth state, Trump confirmed on Monday.

    Calling it “my most incredible deal yet,” Trump said that he had forced Hawaii to bend to his will and “cough up billions” to become a state.

    “This is a big win for our country,” Trump told reporters at the White House. “Hawaii is going to be a beautiful and amazing state.”

    Just minutes after his announcement, however, there was significant pushback from Hawaii, which claimed that it had already reached a deal to become a state in 1959.

    I take it all back. No more "fart of the deal" jokes. Hawaii, what an accomplishment! What's next..............world peace? Maybe a deal with N. Korea to get them to no longer be a threat! Wait.........didn't Duplicitous Don say that's already happened?
    All this after solving the healthcare problem.........which was so easy.
    And solving the immigration problem.........awesome.
    Iran, they stopped developing nuclear weapons........wait..........I thought they already had but are saying they may start again. But hey, nothing Gen. Bolton can't handle.

    Of course he did.

    But the best satire always has an element to it that uncomfortably mirrors reality.

    Like "I made NATO nations agree to spend more years after they already had!" or "I forced Mexico to agree to something that it already had agreed to!"

    What you liberals don't realize is that Hawaii agreed to be the 50th state but never followed through on their commitments. They're still floating out there by themselves in the middle of the ocean and don't allow us to bring in American fruits or take out Hawaiian volcanic rocks. Trump is making them follow through on their commitments.

    Also even if Obama was born in Hawaii he was not a US citizen.
