Trump said if we take out the blue states, his pandemic stats drastically improve.

Michael Steele, the former chairman of the RNC, weighs in (video = 1:40 sec)

This, as COVID spreads in the red states because of a refusal to take basic precautions like wearing masks at the encouragement of Capt. Clorox.

He is right....states run by Dem Govs and cities run by Dem Mayors have done much much worse.

NY and Andy "The Grandma Killer" Cuomo and Billy DemWItt.....have killed thousands, and their cases alone are nearly a qtr of the entire nation.

If you red state/blue state the issue as of today.

62% of the cases, 49% of the deaths have been in red states.

36% of the cases, 49% of the deaths have been in blue states.

2% of the cases, 2% of the deaths have been in our military or territories.

Yet again, Donald is playing with and misrepresenting data and his base is swallowing it.

Reality? We are the United States of America and 100% of the cases, and 100% of the deaths have occurred under Donald’s “leadership”. He took an oath to protect us, took it for granted, failed miserably, and is trying to divide the country to evade responsibility.

That tells you all you need to know about Donald.

what are you talking about? the models were calling for 2 million plus deaths...his leadership has saved millions and likely would have saved more if folks like Andy "Grandma Killer" Cuomo would have listened, instead of involved panic and ignored the guidelines.

I think they did...I dislike how so many Dems have ignored them...and pushed them out well beyond the 30 days, and continue to keep businesses closed

Trump saved millions of lives through other measures as well...such as closing down travel to China, and Europe....Trump listening to the experts has been key....now there is something to say about the experts not getting everything right...but the Chinese Virus was brand new....so I can understand

Testing has been key....the Trump Admin rapid and massive testing has helped a lot. Very different then the Obama/Biden admin that simply stopped testing during the H1N1 pandemic....where an estimated 60-90 million American, men, women and children were infected

I wish Trump had done more earlier.... I wish Trump had not lied to us and played it down

States didn't follow it...the shutdown was for 14 days, then extended to 30....

Long story short...Trump saved lives...he took an unprecedent direct stance against the Chinese Virus and saved millions of lives..it was hard to do, considering he had created the great economy in a generation....but with that said...he already has us on track to the fastest recovery in history.

Biden says he'll shut everything down again....which is horrible and will cost lives and jobs....and we know he has a history of working in the slowest recovery in history....and a pandemic policy of simply not testing....which would be tragic...

Trump did that, the states did follow the Trump guidelines

if Trump wants to change the guidelines, then he should release new guidelines

Some did...not all...as I highlighted Andy " Grandma Killer" Cuomo ignored the guidelines of retirement homes...leading to massive deaths and massive spread of the virus.

...he has released new guidelines during the pandemic...the one on mask for example, the one going from 14 to 30 days another.....

    that was Trump again

"The Trump Administration’s Deregulation of Nursing Homes Leaves Seniors and Disabled at Higher Risk for COVID-19"

    https://www.americanprogress.org/is...leaves-seniors-disabled-higher-risk-covid-19/

"Why are nursing homes being hit so hard by the outbreak? One reason is that they are a target of the Trump administration’s aggressive deregulation agenda."

"In response, the nursing home lobby again advocated for less oversight, and in July 2019, the Trump administration proposed new rules relaxing the requirements tied to infection control. It suggested that consultants could be used, instead of requiring infection specialists to be employed at the site, at minimum, on a part-time basis. This meant that there was no longer a requirement for a full-time, hands-on expert in infection contamination on-site."

Nope they are hit hard, in NY because Cuomo ignored the guidelines.....your link is about regulations prior to the Chinese VIrus and the guidelines.

    https://www.timesunion.com/news/article/Medicare-chief-Cuomo-s-nursing-home-order-did-15302988.php

Andy "Grandma Killer" Cuomo ignored the Federal guidelines....

I literally gave you the link....Medicare Chief handling specifically retirement homes, said Andy "Grandma Killer" Cuomo ignored the guidelines.

You can live in fantasy world all you want but the guidelines are there..they are written and what Cuomo did was not follow them

Sure, travel bans...., warnings, guidelines, got PPE out, ventilators, ....and did so via a public/private contracts.....operation warp speed that's developed treatments etc.

Have you really not been paying attention to the last few months?

What warnings? You mean the warnings he fought the experts on?
Trump got PPEs out? Really? Do you not remember this....
For weeks, state legislators and health care providers across the country have called on the Trump administration to help with the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) available to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The Trump administration has meanwhile argued it is the states’ responsibility to procure PPE, a stance that has led states to compete with one another for supplies — and that has led to confusion on the part of suppliers.
What "treatments" have been developed? Is there a vaccine out that I'm not aware of?

No sure what warnings you are referring to....I am talking about for example his State of the Union address, the guidelines, the numerous briefings etc.
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...led-historic-mobilization-combat-coronavirus/

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) deliveries coordinated or currently being shipped by FEMA and HHS:
    • 38.2 million N95 respirators
    • 32.6 million surgical masks
    • 5.5 million face shields
    • 4.7 million surgical gowns
    • 30.3 million gloves
    • 212,000 coveralls
    • 8,600 medical station beds

No I remember lot of Dems, in pariticular Andy "Grandma Killer" Cuomo spreading misinformatino and panic,....quite tragic. Remember the US Comfort send......it got there...and Andy didn't even really need it....

So you want to give Trump credit for something OTHERS are doing? Are you one of those who believe in participation trophies?

What do you mean others? Obviously the President isn't in a warehouse loading trucks with the equipment Trump was able to get mobilized. But I certainly give him credit for leading the mobilization

Much like I give credit to FDR for defeating Hitler, even though he never picked up a gun. Certainly there are others in both Admins that deserve credit too

If you think this deserves some type of credit then I really don't know what to say...
"After President Donald Trump declared the coronavirus a national emergency in March, he instructed governors to order their own ventilators and other PPE, saying the federal government is “not a shipping clerk.” Trump added the administration will “help out wherever we can,” but state leaders say that current efforts aren’t enough — and that the Trump administration’s refusal to coordinate PPE distribution has forced them to compete with one another for supplies."

States couldn't, nor should they depend solely on the Federal stockpile....it was never meet for all fifty states, and States should, and some did have their own stockpiles

With that said, the Trump admin responded March 30 by creating a Supply Chain Stabilization Task Force under FEMA to help allocate protective gear and life-saving equipment to high-priority areas. That's what leaders do....when a problem comes up they solve.

What leaders don't do is ignore medical experts and order the States to simply stop testing, like Obama and Biden did in the H1N1 pandemic...while an estimated 60 to 90 million American men, women and children got infected....ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away....that's a complete lack of leadership
