Good luck with the lawsuit - direct contravention of the first amendment

He did win the one against the football association but the damages he was awarded was something like $2

Wiki has a reasonable overview of the 3,500 + lawsuits he has been involved in.

He might have case but I am betting it would be hard to establish. I just do not see Mary Trump breaking an NDA unless she had legal advice first. This is Trump being vindictive blaming everyone else letting the cat out of the bag in relation to his legal hankypanky

Agreed and one thing we learnt over the last four years is that he is a petty vindictive SOB

In your country, the young cops pepper spray old women.

So your opinion of a civil matter Trump is pursuing is not relevant.

How do you figure he is going to lose?

She already admitted to being part of the scheme and included the NYT who has also admitted being involved in feloniously accessing and publishing someone else’s tax records.

What defense do you think they’re going to use?

Cause I’m pretty sure, “But but it’s Trump and we hate trump!!!1!!!11!1!” Isnt gonna hold up in court.

I hate to tell you buddy. The first amendment doesn’t give you the right to illegally access someone’s private tax records and publish them in a newspaper.

In fact the law explicitly declares that action to be criminal in nature.

There seems to be an attitude among liberals that anything they do to or say about Trump is perfectly fine, be it illegal, completely untrue or anything else; from the Russian collusion bullshit or publishing his personal property without permission.

I asked YOU about YOUR country

So in your country were I, having some beef with you, to get your private and confidential tax records and medical records and banking records and give them to a newspaper who my uncle owns and he published them you would have no recourse? You would not sue both of them?

What is it this guy in the video says you are saying supports whatever it is you are trying to say. I can't read your mind.

I defend and promote the law, how about you?

What if someone at your doctors office had a beef with you and released your medical records or someone at the bank release your banking records to a local paper and that paper published them? You wouldn't sue both of them?

What is frivolous about having your private and protected tax documents leaked to the public?

What if someone at your doctors office had a beef with you and released your medical records or someone at the bank release your banking records to a local paper and that paper published them? You wouldn't sue both of them?

In that light, we should eliminate the term 'stupid' from the language, given your new meaning renders it meaningless.

Obviously, it's a relativistic term and is always used thus. In fact, I suggest that all adjectives are, it's a given.

Using the term by it's common meaning, she isn't.
I didn't imply she had only one reason. I would suggest that the salient one is noble, in nature.

If she was screwed out of her inheritance by a unscrupulous maneuver by Trump ( who was said to have tricked his father, Fred Trump, on his death bed, into signing a new will which excluded his deceased brother's estate --which includes Mary Trump -- from inheriting what would have been 1/5 of the estate, a sizeable sum which is many millions, noting that Trump squelched the health care of Mary's cerebral palsy ridden child out of vengeance for her lawsuit ) then she has every right to profit from a book exposing Trump for all of his transgressions, all of which give the electorate a basis for more informed decisions regarding voting.

Writing a unflattering book on Trump will invite the wrath of Trump, which is far from pleasant, or cheap. She knew this and did it anyway.

That for me, is sufficient to prove her reasons are noble.

That you cannot see this fundamental fact for what it is tells me that you are the partisan in this equation.

I think it is safe to presume she ran it by her lawyer, the very one who allowed her to take a copy of the documents to the press, as they were in his office, to begin with. She is truly doing America a service by being the veritable gadfly on the horse's ass of Trump.

    per a previous case

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/donal...-his-niece-mary-trump-over-tax-story?ref=home

"Judge Hal Greenwald ruled in that case that the 2001 confidentiality agreement had been too vaguely defined to stop her from writing about the sitting president and noted that her publisher had not been a signatory to that agreement. Robert Trump died in August 2020."

I do get why Trump would be embarrassed by his tax documents being leaked to the public though

Did the Trump lawsuit state which part of the "agreement" that was specifically broken by M. Trump? Will Donald sit for discovery? That should be a hoot.
