Trump will get maybe 10% of black voters and 1% of Hispanic voters.

 

Communities have passed laws, because they don't believe individuals should be able to divide the community along religious, race, or gender lines. Most communities don't care if you want to divide them along political ones. Ever heard of gerrymandering?

Discrimination is fundamentally wrong. That being said, I'm not sure they have a case; if it doesn't fall under the "protected categories" I don't think they have a legal case. The public however has the right not to patronize the restaurant if they so choose.

No it's not. You discriminate every time you choose a checker at the grocery store, order chocolate instead of vanilla, or buy this girl a drink instead of that one.

Some discrimination can had a divisive and destructive effect on a community. So we have laws that limit some practices. But discrimination itself is just choice. And not all choices are bad, even if they aren't the ones I would make.

It would be illegal if someone can prove they weren't hired because of national origin. And not because the color of their clothes.

Listen, I think any business should be allowed to do business with anyone they choose, but the double standard of the left on this is glaring. Imagine the noise we'd be hearing if the Mexican joint refused to serve the BLM terrorists.

 

i have no problem with a private business owner having the right to refuse service to KKK, Neo-Nazis, Black Panthers or anyone who's political/social views they find distasteful.
