    https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-supporter-dead-suspected-suicide-172004838.html

    So, we had so far:

1 woman shot to death while trying to invade the House chamber
1 Capitol police officer bashed in the head with a fire extinguisher; died of his wounds
1 man tased himself by mistake during his actions of invading the Capitol, had a heart attack and died
1 woman trampled to death during the invasion
1 man who had a stroke in the middle of the exertion and stress while he invaded the Capitol, and died
1 Capitol police officer who committed suicide shortly after the Capitol riots
1 man who got arrested and charged in connection to the riot, who committed suicide

Sure, we can't know for sure if the two suicides were fully linked to the event (there were no suicide notes that I know of) but I would guess that they were.

7 Americans died in this sad, sad event. Also casualties, our stance around the world, our role of model of democracy for other countries, our tradition that our presidents celebrate the peaceful transition of power as a great feature of American democracy, the once proud and platriotic G.O.P.'s ability to put country ahead of party (long dead, this one), and so on and so forth.

And some people still think that it wasn't justified to impeach Trump?

Yes, it was. Now he needs to be convicted by the Senate, if we can find 17 Republican senators who actually possess a backbone.

I think a lot of Trump supporters are embarrassed about their actions this last week, just hope there is not more violent ones out there willing to commit violence for their cult leader

the horned guy's lawyer is trying to claim he was a victim of believing the cult leader invited him to the capital, and he worshiped Trump in the same way people worshiped Jim Jones, so it's not his fault (this is the real defense, lol)

"WATCH: Lawyer for ‘QAnon Shaman’ Compares Trump to Cult Leader Jim Jones, Begs For Pardon in Glitch-Filled, Trainwreck CNN Interview"

    https://www.mediaite.com/tv/watch-l...on-in-glitch-filled-trainwreck-cnn-interview/

this really explains the crazy part of the Trump following imo

when the QAnon Shaman's lawyer compared Trump to Jim Jones as a defense for his client, I was thinking, wow, can this reality show get any weirder?

he is saying that since Trump is his cult leader, Trump should give his client a Pardon as it's his fault he did what he did

QAnon Shaman's lawyer says he believed the President of the United States invited him to the Capital, so it was ok for him to be there

One point about thinking this is a tragedy for democracy.
America goes through convulsions like this often - just think of the riots of the 1960's
(civil rights and Vietnam) and the Civil War. Makes people want to move somewhere
else - but truth be told there's a few billion people who want to go live in America. This
nation always works through its issues - something other nations like Russia and China
    don't.
Indira Ghandi in India declared a dictatorship. The populace just shrugged and accepted
it. Later when she held elections, thinking she would legitimize her rule, she lost. Had
there been no election then India would be a dictatorship to this day, probably aligned
with all the other dictatorships. So America will survive the riots, and it will survive Trump
    too.

Of course. Knowledgeable people understand that it couldn't have been Trump's doing. They are reporting the past couple of days that this riot was planned over a period of time before Trump even gave the speech. The impeachment is an embarrassment to the nation. It is the second most stupid thing federal government has done in the last year. The most stupid was suggesting the closing of businesses by force.

Both impeachment’s are hyper partisan nonsense. They set a dangerous precedent for the future.

Both impeachments were a hyper partisan sham. Everyone knows that, even those who supported the shams. They just hated Trump so deeply that any sham would do. That's a product of TDS.

It is amazing though that after the second one, the facts start coming out about who initiated the planning for the Capitol incident and where the planning was happening.

The only issue is, they didn't even consider the precedents they were setting. They weren't concerned about the long term effects it will have on our representative republic.

Of course this was planned before hand. Everybody knows that.
For the past year Trump has been stating that if he loses the election it will be because of voter fraud, that it was stolen from him.

So when Biden won the election, Trump claims it was stolen from him by massive fraud.
Then Trump proceeds to try to get states to nominate electors who will vote for him, regardless of who the state voted for.

When all the states cast their electors for the person who won the election in the state.
Trump pushes to have pence just declare him winner on Jan. 6.
And have the whole election objected to when Congress counts the electoral votes.

Trump even said during his speech he hopes Pence does the right thing.
But when Pence did the legal thing, and he was going to proceeded to declare Biden the winner.
Trump told the crowd to go show Pence what the right thing to do is. Make Trump President.

So yes, everybody knows this was pre-planned.
Because the crowed never would have stormed the Capitol if had Pence declared Trump President again.
But since he didn't, the crowed was directed to act.

It was planned but, unfortunately for your opinion, not by Trump.

Of course it wasn't planned by Trump.
He just told them to execute their plan.
Especially if Pence didn't give Trump the election.

    Well then who did?

The "it's your fault for not believing we really WERE this ****** stupid" defense is sort of falling flat since most judges have an IQ above that of a rutabaga

So what do you make of Trump's tweet telling his followers to go to Washington DC on the 6th and adding "it will be wild"?
Like Cheney said, Trump summoned this mob.
