Many thanks to the trump supporters who are helping to infect innocent people with covid-19, some of whom will no doubt die from it.

The CDC stated the masks won't stop the virus.

A 3 layer mask only stops 60% of flying particles and after day 1 use it drops to 25%. Also if you touch the mask with your hands it's contaminated.

You can slow down a virus but you can't stop it.

You all blame Trump supporters while ignoring the FACT that Democrats put covid 19 patients into nursing homes infecting the elderly who are weaker to the virus.

Biden won't handle this any better than Trump.

 

Don't ever worry about spelling, you aren't being graded. I make typing errors all the time and even notice them but I leave them because I'm too lazy to change them.

 

No one said a mask stops the virus 100%, but it reduces the spread - as repeatedly stated by scientists, medical experts etc. Cases would still be high, but if they were 20% lower, that could mean 20% less deaths. Problem is Trump gave up months ago on even making an effort to reduce the #s. Holding large rallies should have been a criminal act.

There is nothing Biden can do at this point. Trump supporters are not going to change. Many still think covid is a fraud

My wife, son & I wear masks, yet we all got it 3 weeks ago. So I am well aware that nothing is 100%. Thankfully we are ok now, but it was rough for a week

 

Right, got it. Make sure you don't wear a mask and stand in a room next to someone who is sneezing and coughing. Me personally, I'll take my chances and wear a mask. So far I haven't contracted the virus. Will you be able to make the same claim a year from now?

 

It's not up to Trump to teach people how to protect themselves. It was plastered everywhere so that's on them. Besides, you don't know a single person who thought a mask was a good idea but didn't because Trump told him not too.

Actually they were all in their vehicles and Trump supporters in vehicles were yelling at hecklers on the sidewalk to put their masks on right.

 

Ours will be a civilian March and rally. We will be ready for BLM and Antifa to come out and play.

 

One thing I've learned (and I'm a first responder) is that you cannot reason with the unreasonable. Anything that interferes with their lifestyle they reject out of hand. With this covid-19, many of them unknowingly infect other family members and other innocent people, all out of selfishness. Let them ride in an ambulance for a week transporting patients who cannot breathe and are begging you to save their lives and you see the look of fear in their eyes that they know they are going to die. They'd change their minds about about the value of wearing a mask in a heartbeat.

 

I saw an interesting special on CNN about the 1918 Pandemic.

Philly insisted on holding a parade to raise money for the war effort despite medical advisors warning against it. (sort of like the Trump rallies) Within a few days every hospital bed in the city was filled and there were dead bodies in the streets

There were also anti-mask rallies

100 years later, society has not changed

 

Because the virus only spreads among Christian worshippers, crowds seeking a re opened economy or supporting the blue or gatherings on behalf of conservative causes while totally sparing and bypassing blm riots, arson. and looting sprees. Antifa crowds, and Biden victory parties. And of course we know the virus is calm until 10 pm and becomes especially virulent until 5 am when it becomes less dangerous again.

 

Only Trump rallies spread the virus.

The millions of people holding protests, celebrating Biden's win, gathering in mass at the beaches, everyone touching gas pump handles or the covid patients stuck in nursing homes because of Democrats did not spread covid 19.

It's impossible for Democrats to spread the virus. Only Republicans can do it.

That's what the left wants you to believe.

Trump closed borders with China early. Trump also rushed out the vaccine. The left will never admit those things. They just keep screaming where a mask while many that do get sick.

Fact check. While Trump followed the lead of other countries and closed the border to China, the virus was already spreading and arrived via Italy. If Trump had closed the borders properly, then the virus would have been contained and suppressed. Instead it turned into a s*** show where Trump blamed everyone else but himself for the mess it all became....

 

Wearing a mask helps to lower the risk of transmission. If everyone is wearing a mask, then the risk is even lower. Social distancing, hygiene, and wearing masks all help. Look at Melbourne, Australia if you're still confused about it...

Not sure why the cheap shot aimed at the Coast Guard. I served in the army as a Vietnam Era veteran and completed my 20 years in the CG. I served 2 years on a CG cutter and 14 years in aviation and I was placed in more dangerous situations in the CG than the army. Keep in mind the CG's area of responsibilty is staggering compared to NYC police department with less members.
