I cannot be wrong to assume you' stopped supporting Trump when he announced his candidacy.

Everyone does. Not everyone knows they did.

Still doesn't make it right, nor does it prevent the IRS from auditing your returns.

That's true, but if I had been a supporter, the "falling in love" episode would have pushed me to the "NeverTrump" column. I cannot believe you guys didn't turn on him after that. If that had been Obama or Hillary who said that...

And here we are back at the start. There are more laws and tax codes then any human can possibly know. You name the person, they will find a crime. Even if no crime was committed, they will get them on obstruction, lying to a federal agent, etc. Of course, they are offer a deal to become a witness. Its really hard to spot the good guys here.

That may be true, but the defense, "there are so many laws on the books, I didn't know which one I was breaking!" rarely works.

If it had been Obama's lawyer who was accusing Obama of breaking the law, would we ever hear the end of it? You don't have to answer that, of course, because we both know what the answer is.

Yet it is more on the side of right than confiscating the fruits of our labor by force.

It would be different if it were Obama. People liked him.
