No, changing tracks from the content to the timeframe, pretending to be uninterested due to the timeframe even though you've been involved in discussing the same timeframe, is the dodge.

I'd ask you to point out any literacy or logic fail, but I won't hold my breath.

The content includes the timeframe, but nice of you to not realize that for me.

Which is why this is a silly distraction that has nothing to do with the the thread.

Content and timeframe are two different things, and you were interested in the content until you found a way to try to use the timeframe as a dodge.

I accept your concession of all the points you tried to make.
When you can provide a citation, and text from same, that supports those points, we can resume the conversation.
    Onus is on you.

    Mmmm no.

Donald Trump's tax returns from the 80's and 90's is the topic.

If you don't understand how that's not two different things, I'm both unable and unwilling to help you.

Yeah...so what? And earlier on this same rag, some time after his losses from Atlantic City, the NYT, raved about him being the "THE COMEBACK KID".

    Intellectual honesty fail.
Ah, I see, maybe you honestly missed it in every previous post. On the off chance this is an honest mistake, I'll try again:

Already covered and still not addressed: I'm taking about the size of the losses compared to other individuals. This is covered in the OP. Which reminds me:

You'd have to engage in a conversation to resume it. If you are indeed interested in having a debate, the onus on you to actually join it in the first place instead of scrambling to dodge at every opportunity. Step 1: try actually reading the link in the OP!!! Which reminds me:

You were willing to discuss the contents of those returns until you realized you could try to abandon the discussion by trying to shift the focus to the dates. If you don't understand that, I'm both unable and unwilling to help you.

Let's play "Name the leftist who said this"!

[Americans have] a continuing normative commitment to the ideals of individual freedom and mobility, values that extend far beyond the issue of race in the American mind. The depth of this commitment may be summarily dismissed as the unfounded optimism of the average American—I may not be Donald Trump now, but just you wait; if I don't make it, my children will.

Oh so you'd like to separate the dates from those tax returns, because the dates have nothing to do with them.

I must have really flustered you, because that is hilariously dumb.

The point is to "launder" dirty money into clean money.

Money laundering: concealment of the origins of illegally obtained money, typically by means of transfers involving foreign banks or legitimate businesses.

The thread is about Trump's tax returns. I was promised money laundering.

So where is this clean money? Trump lost money.

Looks more like anti-laundering to me. Taking clean money and making it disappear.

Pretending you are willing to talk about their significance while then trying to run away from them by talking about timing makes no sense. Sorry.

Disagree. Please read the OP. I've already explained this, multiple times. "His core business losses in 1990 and 1991 — more than $250 million each year — were more than double those of the nearest taxpayers in the I.R.S. information for those years." More than anyone else = Not typical. Again, not sure where I'm losing you on that one.

    They have no significance.

I'm not running away, I'm having a great time laughing about it.

    Yeah it's unheard of.

More here if you'd like to see people losing billions of dollars over 10 years.

Ted Turner is a great one.

Decreases in net worth and business losses are not the same thing. At all. And do you have stats on Trump's net worth that don't rely in any way on self-reporting?
