You have a really poor ability to read. Let see if the 2nd time works better.

41 non-citizens with ties to terrorists were encountered in 2018 along one border.

12 non-citizens with ties to terrorists were encountered in 2018 along the other border.

Can you guess which border is which?

I know why you want to blame Democrats.

    You are smarter than Trump.

Of course he works against the petty partisanship of the Open Borders Globalist Democrats. He Puts AMERICANS First!

You folks have quite lost your minds. In your hatred of Americans you guys openly harbor anti-Semites and anti-Catholics.

Trump's speech was the Hollywood equivalent of a doomed remake: COLUMN
    • By Matthew Dowd
    Jan 9, 2019, 5:19 AM ET
The Hollywood equivalent of President Donald Trump's speech Tuesday night on immigration would be releasing a movie for the 12th time after it bombed at the box office a little over two months ago.

The president's speech from the Oval Office provided no new information for this debate we are in over the government shutdown and border security, did not expand the audience who would be receptive to the president's message and will not move a single swing voter in America or in Congress to the president's position.

Other than all that, it went well.

He is pushing a policy which is supported by 33% of Americans. He does not care about Americans. He cares about the Americans who love him.

Democrats need to learn to put their petty partisanship aside and Put Americans First!

And we are tired of the Left's anti-Semitism and anti-Catholicism. Enough Division Hate and Bigotry from the Democrats. We are one People, with One Law, applied without favoritism. And even illegals need to respect our border and our laws.

It's a false choice to claim that a solution for part of the problem is worthless as it doesn't solve all of the problem.

Well, we do know he's heavily into that activity...

Also, the SOTU doesn't draw anywhere near SB numbers (45.6M to 103.4M Last year), but I suspect you know that...

Ah, I get it. You think the only problem on the southern border has to do with terrorists.

    So?

How is that ridiculous RW copypasta "on topic" in a thread about Trump's Border Wall speech?

Oh, and actually on topic, Trump's speech was a complete joke.

It was just one Trump word that seems to have gotten you so excited.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
Elected representatives following the will of the American public is consistent with the policy of the Republican-controlled House for the preceding two years.

Should Trump agree to let the government that he was proud to take responsibility for shutting down re-open?

That would reflect the wishes of most Americans who do not want his wall that he promised Mexico would pay for.

Quite right. And the 'poll' last november revealed that the Dems should control congress. So I'm thinking that whatever they are doing regarding the wall is fine by a very large swath of people.

Even though walls are over 90% effective and it is claimed 96% effective you think that is not good enough. Fascinating.

Someone linked, as proof, to an article about a farmer that farms along the Texas border 'next to a fence' and the farmer saying that he did not see an increase in illegal immigration and that was supposed to be proof that walls don't work? I swear you can't make this stuff up.

They are following the policy that Republicans followed for two years, not giving Trump $5.7 billion for his big, beautiful wall that he repeatedly promised Mexico would pay for, a position that is supported by most Americans.

More Americans blame Trump for the government shutdown
... the shutdown appears to be hurting Trump. His job approval rating has edged down in the past three weeks
    — a trend that lines up almost perfectly on the calendar with the shutdown.

MAGA's chances of staying in office are what this is about. Well, that and continuing to distract us from his criminality.

Trump says giving in to Democrats' demands would be "foolish" and cost him his base
President Trump offered a candid take on his political situation during remarks on border security Wednesday, saying frankly his base would abandon him if he reopens parts of government without securing funding for a border wall.

"Right now if I did something that was foolish like gave up on border security, the first ones that would hit me are my senators. They'd be angry at me," Trump said, expressing publicly what he's told lawmakers and allies over the past several weeks.
During a meeting in the Situation Room with top Democrats and Republicans last week, Trump told Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer he would look "foolish" if he accepted Democrats' proposals to reopen the government.

But he hasn't said as much in public until Wednesday.

He went on, saying "The second ones (to hit me) would be the House and the third ones would be, frankly, my base and a lot of Republicans out there and a lot of Democrats that want to see border security."

Later, in an exchange with ABC's Jon Karl, Trump continued to lay out his political predicament.

Asked why not open the parts of the government not related to border security, Trump fired back: "Do you think I should do that, Jon? ... Do you think I should just sign?"

"I'm asking you, would you do that if you were in my position?" Trump said. "If you would do that, you should never be in this position because you'd never get anything done."
    https://www.cnn.com/politics/live-news/government-shutdown-january-2019/index.html

Also, he clearly doesn't have the mental acumen to "get anything done" as a politician. This obstinate behavior and holding the government hostage is not the way to get things done. It's the worst practices of the Tea Party amplified.
