Trump suffers from rectal cranial inversions
What comes out his mouth are streams of what passes as thought from his dotard brain

he is frustrated since he cannot order others to do what he thinks

Fitting he spews that stuff in places like alabama and mississippi , the underbelly of America and the antithesis of educated America

Trump has some advice for National Football League owners: Fire players who kneel during the national anthem. He’s also encouraging fans to walk out in protest.

And the president is bemoaning what he describes as a decline in violence in the sport.

”They’re ruining the game,” he said during a political rally in Alabama on Friday night that veered beyond politics.

Trump, who once owned the New Jersey Generals of the U.S. Football League, says those players are disrespecting the American flag and deserve to lose their jobs.

”That’s a total disrespect of our heritage. That’s a total disrespect of everything that we stand for,” Trump said, encouraging owners to act.

”Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, you’d say, `Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired,” Trump said to loud applause.

Trump also predicted that any owner who followed the presidential encouragement would become ”the most popular person in this country” – at least for a week.

Trump, who was in Alabama campaigning for Sen. Luther Strange, also blamed a drop in NFL ratings on the nation’s interest in ”yours truly” as well as what he contended was a decline in violence in the game.

He said players are being thrown out for aggressive tackles, and it’s ”not the same game.”

Over the past several seasons, the NFL and college football have increased penalties and enforcement for illegal hits to the head and for hitting defenseless players. A July report on 202 former football players found evidence of a debilitating brain disease linked to repeated head blows in nearly all of them. The league has agreed to pay $1 billion to retired players who claimed it misled them about the concussion dangers of playing football.

During his campaign, Trump often expressed nostalgia for the ”old days” – claiming, for example, that protesters at his rallies would have been carried out on stretchers back then. He recently suggested police officers should be rougher with criminals and shouldn’t protect their heads when pushing them into squad cars.

It’s also not the first time he’s raised the kneeling issue. Earlier this year he took credit for the fact that Kaepernick hadn’t been signed.

Television ratings for the NFL have been slipping since the beginning of the 2016 season. The league and observers have blamed a combination of factors, including competing coverage of last year’s presidential election, more viewers dropping cable television, fans’ discomfort with the reports of head trauma and the anthem protests.

Ratings have been down even more in the early 2017 season, though broadcasters and the league have blamed the hurricanes that hit Florida and Texas. Still, the NFL remains by far the most popular televised sport in the United States.

Trump said the anthem protest was the top reason NFL viewership had waned.

”You know what’s hurting the game?” he asked. ”When people like yourselves turn on television and you see those people taking the knee when they’re playing our great national anthem,” he said.

Trump encouraged his supporters to pick up and leave the stadium next time they spot a player failing to stand.

”I guarantee things will stop,” he said.

trump, who was in Alabama campaigning for Sen. Luther Strange, also blamed a drop in NFL ratings on the nation’s interest in ”yours truly” as well as what he contended was a decline in violence in the game.

Poor Trump just can't help being stupid. Maybe if he read the Constitution occasionally he would understand " free speech"

Of course I never quite understood what the national anthem has to do with football in the first place.

Trump has that old malady so common in some humans, constipation of the brain and diarrhea of the mouth. It is an embarrassment to have him as POTUS.

I wonder what position Trump would take on someone in a wheelchair who cannot stand?

The NFL should eliminate the playing of the National Anthem at all games; this would completely fix the problem up front.

He's speaking to how most older white NFL fans feel. It's just that most black fans and some younger white fans feel the complete opposite. I understand both sides but won't pretend like I fully agree with either extreme.

What he's saying might be over the top and may sound stupid to some people. But it's exactly what a big chunk of this country is thinking.

Everyone likes freedom of speech until somebody says something they disagree with.

Well this is a free country, and he simply offered good business advice..

There's a reason NFL ratings are on steep downward slope.

There are many good reasons why the NFL is losing viewership. Meanwhile, nobody knows what will spew from Donnie's brain in the next five minutes. Not even Donnie.

I see the cupcakes are upset that Trump is disrespecting the free speech practiced by some NFL players by disrespecting his free speech.

Presidents are not supposed to babble and call people names. But Donnie is a special case, isn't he? He's always been special.

    The Cambridge police acted stupidly

    If I had a son....

With his big mouth Obama injected himself into criminal investigations, Trump not so much.

I'm not doubting the politicization of the league hasn't contributed to the league's ratings decline, but there are certainly other reasons. Overexposure, negative press, cord cutting and "having nowhere to go but down" have all played a role if you ask me.

People who do not watch football simpyl do not understand.

That sport is in SERIOUS trouble, in the next decade we could see hockey become more relevant

"NBC's "Sunday Night Football" in the first two weeks of the regular season is down 7% in viewership compared to last year; ESPN's "Monday Night Football," is down 5%; and the averages of Sunday afternoon games on Fox and CBS are down 11% and 19% respectively"

    OUCH

Their main games are Sunday, so they basically have seen a drop of around 15% viewership? That is MASSIVE

Wow talk about being out in the weeds. Ask Joe Biden, it was he who asked someone in a wheelchair to stand up.

Firing players who kneel during the national anthem would be wrong. No employee should ever be terminated for exercising their personal rights in that way regardless of how distasteful it may be. I would never support the NFL firing players for this.

However, what the NFL should do is not spotlight them nor give them any acknowledgement whatsoever. People are free to feel however they want about the country, they can throw their middle finger up during the national anthem for all I care, they aren't paid to have political opinions, they are paid to play football. The NFL fan has the power in this situation, no the league. Protest back with your wallet and don't support the league. Don't attend games, don't pay for NFL Sunday Ticket, don't buy merchandise, etc. These players are paid by the fans who support them, so if you don't like what they are doing and you don't agree with the NFL's insistence on giving them a stage then simply don't support them financially.

It's no different than any other business, don't like their practices? Don't shop there. Eventually the NFL will have to do something about this if the attendance rates and ratings continue on the current downward spiral. I won't support the NFL terminating players for protesting the national anthem but I will 100% support the NFL and/or broadcast networks refusing to show those who do and discussing those who do.

Bad call by Trump, this is America, you shouldn't get fired for not standing up during the national anthem we don't roll like that in this country. Now forcing the league to "lay you off" because they can't afford to pay you anymore because your antics have upset the revenue generating fan base....That's a different story and that's how this situation should be handled.

First he didn't babble, I heard every word clearly. Where in the presidential handbook does it say a president can't speak his mind? Oh, I get it free speech for you but not those that don't speak liberalese.

Having your fingers in your ears while someone is speaking will cause some to think it's babbling. What more does the President have to do to denounce white supremacist to satisfy you people, shoot them in the street?

Trump obviously hates the Constitution, even his cult members know that. And many of them agree. It's a slippery slope to fascism.

really have to be a Snowflake to be soo offended by someone sitting down during the National Anthem.

i mean seriously, if they play well, follow the team and NFL code-of-conduct, dont commit crimes, then they should keep their jobs even if they dont stand.

    jeeeez, get a grip folks.
