    You're right,...after all the lies, falsehoods, and blatant contradictions, the Trump admin really has no remaining credibility at this point. Though that isn't to say that one can necessarily trust an unnamed Russian source any more than one can the Trump admin, but this really does not look good at all for Trump.

    You don't do it for those people but for those who are on the fence, or close to it.

    If you believe yourself to be innocent, you shouldn't give up anyway. If Trump believes he's innocent then cooperate, instead of bitching on twitter.

    His apologists will be here shortly, denying everything - then, who knows? Tomorrow at 04:00 the so-called president may tweet "Yeah, I fired Comey over Russia, so what?".
    And the deluded will flip and defend THAT.
    This is amazing.

    The people on the fence quit listening a long time ago. Its been so much, so quick, it looks like a conspiracy to destroy Trump. Lots of allegations, but not a single shred of verifiable proof against Trump has been posted to this point.

    On the other hand, several of these stories have been refuted by people willing to put their name on it.

    Come on now. We still have plenty of people on here claiming that Comey was fired for asking for more resources even though thats been debunked by McCabe.

    Yes but this time, as opposed to the election, it isn't a popularity contest. It is at least obstruction of justice, and I suspect this is well into treason before we're done.

    I don't know if Trump is guilty of the worst or if it is limited to a few of those around him. He may be more like Bush II - someone's else's stooge.

    My gut tells me he's just another mob boss - not nearly as smart as everyone thinks, just a lot more corrupt.

    Just as a minor note, I don't think that McCabe debunked that story. He said that he was not aware of such a request and that such requests are generally not made in the manner alleged in the report.

    McCabe's testimony does make the Comey story less likely to be accurate, but it does not debunk the story.

    Not in my mind. Then again, I dont believe a damn thing from an unnamed source.

    The only reason to dump any of this is for personal gain or personal politics. There is no honorable reason to dump this info.

    I actually love the comparisons to Watergate. It proves the worst about unnamed sources, regardless of the quality of their info, and also proves the laziness of the media today who rely completely on unnamed sources without trying to find anything verifiable.

    An "American Official who read the document" to the NYT. I think it's funny that this is what constitutes journalism. You haven't seen the document...cannot verify its authenticity....you are just taking an "American Officials" word for it.

    I mean honestly....
