Just another day with Trump, the new normal in the US, the Potus gives an interview to Fox encouraging the AG to put forth charges against Obama and Biden for his made up bogus Roy Cohn conspiracy shtick in time for the election. He's been at this game with his fake Obamagate crap since one of his drunken 3AM tweets two or three years ago. But, supposedly he's a teetotaler.

Well, the key difference between 2016 (Comey) and 2020 (Durham?) is that the great majority of Americans are prepared for bullshit "October surprises" and their votes won't be modified accordingly this time.

Anyone in the US government with a need to know can request the identity of the masked US citizen captured on a foreign intel call. It is an entirely separate issue to imply that Biden was responsible for leaking it to the Washington Post.

Flynn was already viewed as sketchy by the administration for his likelihood of being subject to Russian blackmail. Tillerson was of course another huge fan of easing sanctions and doing business with Russia.

If you find it acceptable that the current administration hasn't been able to resolve a damned single thing beyond the unmasking issue for 3 & 1/2 years but now would be a great time to reach some conclusions then I reckon your cool with watching the country devolve toward the leadership model of the Roman empire. The problem with your theory is that it is the centrist voter that will be waiting for the tipping point to lead them to four more years of Trump or four years of Biden/Harris (oh yeah, or Kanye - hahaha).

Any issues related to the Obama administration could be that tipping point. Not saying there are issues, but I am saying even perceived issues can be that tipping point. I don't think there are true BS detectors out there that will resolve that for voters.

 

Trump did, indeed, urge this and even said it was because "we have an election coming up." His exact words. Trump supporters need to learn that news doesn't become "fake" just because it is bad for the President.

I don’t see any danger to joe. AG Barr, when pressed by Rep Debbie Powell, answered no to the question if He would commit to delaying the release of the Durham report until after the election. When pressed about the rules of using his office to influence an election, his response was no one running for president is under investigation. Obviously joe has nothing to fear.

How do you compare what you call a fake investigation, despite its basis on well-known and well-documented evidence, with the illegal DOJ and FBI effort to "insure" Trump's loss with a well-known and paid for false dossier?

How about this then: you provide support that the basis of Obamagate is well-known and well-documented. While you're at it, provide a timeline of the DOJ and FBI involvement with the Steele Stories that were paid for by GOP opposition research into the Traitor-In-Chief.

Or maybe you could pause with your partisan whataboutism hackery for just the slightest moment to offer your opinion whether or not statements to the press of this nature from the Potus and the AG are really in keeping with whatever principles you may have once held about the conduct of our federal government.
