Everyone lol...this is the result I got when I talked to people in my area after the election. They voted to keep the Hildabeast out of office. On that basis I think anyone that the Republicans put up would have beaten her. That Trump ended up doing much of what he campaigned on is a bonus.

I am surprised more people would not say on this poll. It seemed to be one of the key factors for people. For the record if I would not have had a choice other then those two I would have voted for Trump. Lucky for me Gary Johnson ran, he gave me a legitimate choice that I approved of.

I think many might be confusing a 'no' vote for 'i didnt vote for Trump.' Thats what I thought at first til I scrutinized the question.

It is not a clear cut poll. I voted for Trump because he was Trump, and the way he said he would run America. On the other hand, I would have voted for anyone but Hillary, a known criminal.

So the answer is "Yes" to both alternatives.

You voted a known protected criminal over a successful business man? Just asking for logic.

Yeah, as I've stated before, I would have voted for Howdy Doody before voting for a known sewer rat.

I voted for Trump because he wasn't Hillary. My political choices for 2016 was Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. I would have been satisfied with either one of those two as president -- both of them having already had massively more national level experience than had Barack Obama back in 2008.

Knowing that Hillary Clinton was corrupt to the bone and was also -- and very obviously so -- both physically and mentally ill by the time she theoretically began campaigning for the job that she KNEW that the politically corrupt DNC and Obama had already decided that she would be gifted back in 2015. Our leftists conveniently forget all the times she launched her presidential drive in 2015, campaigned half-heartedly for a week or two and then VANISHED for a month or two; before beginning the process again. It was then that I KNEW that there was something seriously wrong with her health.

So did I want Trump to become president? Hell no! Did I hold my nose and reluctantly vote for him anyway? Hell yes! Do I like Trump's personality? Hell no! Do I think that on the whole he has been a reasonably productive and good -- for careful definition of good -- president so far? Yes, but I still don't particularly care for him. Will I vote for him again in 2020? That depends on who and what the DNC decides in advance to GIVE the presidential nomination to. We shall see.

When Mueller is finished we'll at least have collusion, obstruction of justice, money laundering, income tax evasion and maybe more. You can't wallow in the gutter all your life and come out clean.

Even if it is imaginary stuff. They put a political prisoner in jail to force his co-operation. That is unconstitutional on it's face. I guess that is the kind of justice you are talking about???? No laws, no legal proceedings, just IMAGINATION and STRONG ARMING. Perhaps we should use torture too.
Mueller was hired for Russian collusion, and he should be checking out Hillary for fraud, failure to protect secret data, a private server, 4 dead marines, 1.2 billion pay off account in the Clinton Foundation schema. Shall I go on. Now that would be worth it because a conviction for just "obstruction of justice" would be enough to hang her on.

You mean they put thousands of political prisoners in jail for political reasons. And they were children. And that thrills you. Hence, you have no moral standing to lecture decent people.

Manafort is in prison for good reasons. Despite what you think, the Republican-Stalinist utopia has not yet been implemented, so members of TheParty do not get a free pass for all criminal activity. Manafort broke the law, then he violated the terms of his bail, so he's in prison.
