    1. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Any trade deal the United States makes with China must be on U.S. terms, Donald Trump said on Thursday, as Beijing prepared to take countermeasures in response to the Republican U.S. president’s latest tariffs on $300 billion of Chinese imports....

    2. As shown by the factors below, China has no choice but to stand fast against the ruthless policies of Trump and other hegemonists.

    (a) Trump rules out any "50-50" deal with China.

Trump said in an interview aired on Sunday (May 19, 2019) that his tariffs on Chinese goods are causing companies to move manufacturing out of China to Vietnam and other Asian countries, and added that any agreement to end a trade war with China cannot be a "50-50" deal.

Repeating it in other words, he said that "any pact would have to be on America's terms". Who wants to make a deal on his opponent's terms? If you make a deal on your opponent's terms, you must be an idiot. Similarly if you expect others to cave in on your terms, you must be a moron.

    (b) The US loss of credibility

Once Donald Trump moves into the White House, he began to rip his predecessor's deals to shreds. You can imagine what will happen if the Democrat regains the White House. All of Trump's deals will be trashed. Hence how can others make a deal with a country that loses all credibility?

    (c) Mercurial Trump

Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad called Trump “mercurial” because the US leader "changes his mind within 24 hours". The 93-year-old Mahathir said: "When you have a man like that, you need to be cautious.” How can others make a deal with anyone who "changes his mind within 24 hours"?

    (d) US red tape

It takes a short time for Trump to impose tariffs but a long time to remove them because of red tape.

    (e) Trump has become a lame duck or a "bounced cheque".

As time goes on, both political parties have discovered that it is not too bad to have a scandal-hit guy as president. If Trump backtracks in his anti-China campaign, bipartisan hegemonists like Latino Republican Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, Republican Senator Mitt Romney of Utah and Democratic Senator Mark Warner of Virginia are ready to enact legislations to bring him back to his "right course" in the protracted trade war.

Due to bipartisan threats to rein him in if he goes off course like a crazy horse, Trump can become a "bounced cheque" in any deal with China and other countries.

    (f) Like a wolf howling in the dim moonlight, waking up all the vampires and zombies in the nearby cemetery, Trump has aroused Sinophobia among members of both parties in Congress and officers in the State Department, Pentagon, spy agencies and other sections of the US population.

Many Americans have fallen under a delusion that Trump has discovered the secret in dealing with China. Future US presidents may pursue similar anti-China policies with the result that the great power rivalry between the two countries will last for several centuries, if not forever.

Hence it is a matter of the utmost importance for China to deal a crushing defeat to Trump in the so-called trade war in order to save itself, America and all other countries from the upcoming global economic holocaust.

You guys in China suck at this propaganda stuff

"Like a wofl howling in the dim moonlight ..."

Come on man, you couldn't be more Chinese if you tried.

We continue to push to end trade with you guys all together, America is realizing that we don't need China to hurt their citizens in order to build cheap stuff. Other countries are picking up the slack as China loses thousands of businesses per quarter.

You guys will keep trying to prop yourself up with QE type spending, continuing to flail as you realize you no longer have any customers.

Half the country now absolutely wants to cut all ties with China, especially now with Hong Kong and how they are acting with this trade deal. We want to be done with you guys.

From the Hong Kong stuff it looks like Democrats are coming along too.

You guys are in trouble and you know it

Few things are more lame than ad hom fallacy in the first sentence of a post ... and complaining "you must be from china" is the bottom of the barrel of ad hom.

I for one am not Chinese - and much of what the poster says is the truth - regardless of where he/she comes from.

Your claim that we are pushing to end trade with China is false and 2) the idea that ending all trade with China would be a good thing for the US economy - or the US in general - is uneducated thinking.

How would ceasing all trade with the world largest economy in terms of purchasing power, benefit us more than it would harm us.

What are we supposed to do - shrivel up and go into some shell every time we have a trade issue with another nation ? It is not just China with whom we have trade issues.

Perhaps you are an advocate of the US turning inwards to the point of becoming like some Amish community but, your claim that the rest of America is with you in this pursuit (sans perhaps Cortez, Omar and others of the same ilk) is false.
