Back at you with the b.s. Now we see how diluted your argument really is. You just posted a total of over 140,000 living in the U.S. as if that changes anything. What does the number and the same circumstances that happened to the black slaves that happened to the Mexicans have to do with the price of China except nothing? You are inventing some sort of an argument, that isn't even an argument. The descendants of the Mexicans whose ancestors had to leave should be granted the same citizenship rights as black slaves. They both were either taken or driven away against their will. The descendants of all black slaves are citizens. And there is no logical argument that the Mexican descendants shouldn't be granted the same right.

You basically attempted to put a face on your argument by posting numbers in 1821, as if that means something. Lol! It means absolutely nothing. This is truly the ultimate fail, where anyone can see that your slave citizenship argument versus the Mexican citizenship argument are one and the same.

More examples of a situation that has nothing to do with our own invasion. Seceding or not seceding had nothing to do with us. In the meantime you ignore the argument that the descendants of Mexico have just as much right to be citizens as the descendants of black slaves. Both were taken and misplaced against their will.

Trying to obsess about my ignorance isn't going to change those facts I presented. Your attack on me proves that.

It does for children under 18. My son is both a Japanese and American citizen. He must make a choice on his 18th birthday.

LOL, my grand parents became citizens as soon as possible. English was mandatory in the home. The came here with NOTHING and earned it all. Even sending their sons to fight our wars.
So, you have no clue how it was done 100 years ago.

SCOTUS says no such thing, only your poor interpretation claims SCOTUS to say something it does not.

Maybe you should attempt to understand the ruling

    You've refuted nothing:yawn:

Here, here. Can't happen quick enough for me. I see these latino women on the bus. They play this coy little, 'I'm not doing nothing,' routine. They sit on the bus smiling their malicious smiles, and molly coddling of their 'spruced up' anchor babies. They want us to believe they are good little dotting mothers who are just here 'trying to make better lives for themselves and their children'. BS. The majority of them didn't have 'families' before they stepped foot on American soil; most of them are too young to be 'good little mothers''; and as far as their spruced up children--when 'no one is looking', I see their children hanging out windows with dirty diapers on. These women are phony, deceitful, lazy, a drag on social services; and, as far as I am concerned, immoral. Their children are a drag on the education system.

Big business will benefit from these children who will work at low-skilled jobs for lower than prevailing wages when they are older, but the rest of us, especially our children, will pay through the nose for these anchor babies.

Are you truly this inept? I just showed that there were only 80K living in the Mexican Territories between 1821 and 1848, do you really not understand basic math or comprehend 3rd grade English?

What happened to slaves the same as Mexicans? :confusion:

No Mexicans HAD to leave, some chose to leave and go back to Mexico, the rest were granted US Citizenship. If you fail to read basic links with basic knowledge, how do you propose to even have a modicum of what you are talking about, since everything you have claimed to date has been ignorance?

Nothing was taken from Mexicans against their will. Mexican in Texas revolted against Mexico and won their own independence long before the US got involved. Learn about the Texas revolution.

The only ultimate fail here is your inanity of not knowing anything about what you are trying to lay claim to. Go bask to your Mexica Movement web site, maybe learn a little history and realize their propaganda is just that propaganda for morons.

Do you really not understand what led the US to goto the Rio Grand Valley and fight the Mexican Army? Mexican were not misplaced against their will, Mexicans are the ones that started the secession from Mexico. Those on this side of the Rio Grand in 1848 were given US Citizenship, those that did not want it went back to Mexico by their own choice. Their descendents are not entitled to anything and there is absolutely no comparison to what happened to slaves.

You haven't presented any facts, your ignorance is simply owned by you. I have yet to attack you, pointing out your ignorance is not attacking you. :roflol:

Whining about being attacked only proves that you really don't know what you are talking about and shows how truly inept you are.

for some reason, there is never ANY consideration to the details of how the "deportation" of millions of "illegals" AND their families (kids born in the us) could be accomplished and at what cost.

All of them would have to be rounded up and detained for processing. that processing would have to include some form of judicial hearing and ability to "defend" oneself or claim "refugee" status which would require further investigation. There would be an enormous issue with disposal of any real property they might possess as well.

The necessary bureaucracy and infrastructure required to arrest, detain, process and deport millions would be enormous.
Meanwhile a huge amount of local and state tax revenue would be lost and not readily replaced, while millions of low paying jobs would go unfilled.

Yep that sure is a practical approach for the simple minded and the "at all costs" crowds, but in practice would be economically and socially devastating. But that is what some call a "solution". And justice for all.

You start by deporting those you catch and watch as more and more self deport as e-verify eliminates the jobs to get.

So how are having open citizenship and open borders and unlimited immigration working out in your country?

Who surprised here the the latinos were going to be the first to whine like little b!tches about this. No offense but the latinos cant do anything with the land they already have. If their countries were so great, why did they come to the US? Face it, in this day and age you are primitives with a primitive argument. If you had 1st world countries your argument might be valid. But you don't . So give your 'mexican' movement a rest cause the only thing mexicans are superior at is producing crystal meth and crapping out anchor babies.

As I said the stuff of a stay up all night political thriller, but for malfeasence and not upholding the constitution and yes would require a solid conservative Congress with some Democrats going along.

    It is discussed continuously.
Why would they need to be "rounded-up"? Why can't they be processed when they come into contact with local LEO's or the Feds?Do you even know what refugee status is? They are not refugees, and those that are already have the designation.

If done at once, yes. If done over time, NO. The rest is assumption.

I'm going to spend more time later reading his plan. For now, I will say that a Constitutional amendment to change birthright citizenship should be open for discussion. It would take nothing less than an amendment, by the way.

Off the subject some, but in the Natural Born discussion, that too cannot be changed without an amendment; so it frustrates me that some want to refer to statutes that have altered what many believe to be the original intent of Natural Born as it pertains to presidential eligibility. Anyway, it's no different than birthright citizenship. There must be an amendment to change it.

Okay you start with just those you catch. "self deportation"? you can't be serious. E-verify? like there isn't an underground cash economy in the US.

then it becomes a question of how do you catch others? Start stopping all visible minorities and demanding "papers please"?

How long do you think this pogrom will take? It sure would keep a lot of judges and lawyers and bureaucrats and "detention specialists" busy for a long, long time.

Do you really think that Americans who advocate retroactively strip American citizens of their birthright citizenship are upholding "American values"?

I do not advocate for "open borders" nor "unlimited" immigration. Canadian immigration law is at least as onerous and restrictive as any other western nation. We deport those we catch. Of course if one has money, then its a whole different story.

Our illegal immigrant problem isn't remotely on the same scale as yours. Another benefit of our geography.

Here’s the real issue (as I see it)

If all of these people were from Europe there would be no anger, fear or discrimination what-so-ever. It wouldn’t make the news, and it wouldn’t find its way into mainstream politics or political discussions what-so-ever.

Say no to that until your eyes pop out of your head but it's true, and deep, deep down all of you know it.

If Ireland (for example) was situated where Mexico is, and Irish folks were pouring into the US having babies not one of you hypocrites would be saying anything, not one word.

I agree that many of the young women finding their way into the country are having babies for the expressed point to have a connection with the US, so they can stay or reap the benefits……..but not all.

I personally a few young Mexican couples with kids that live & work in Mexico, and they have legally come to this country for better work opportunities, and they’re not looking to make 500 babies to weigh down the system.

I personally know a few young Mexican couples that have entered illegally that don’t have any kids and don’t want any.

Many people in this thread have made some very negative, disparaging, insulting, and down right cruel & insensitive remarks about all brown people including Mexicans, Indians (from India) Native American Indians, and the Africans that were brought here to be sold into slavery.

You guys never change, and sadly you never will. All of our policies are fine as long as the opportunities we once provided for Europeans aren't given to others that come from countries where the people are predominately brown.

The second poor “Juan” tries to cross the border to come “back” into the country his great, great grandfather was “born in” long before your ancestors ever arrived you all scream about anchor babies and throwing them all out.

All of you that are all so proud of your families coming here during the great wave don’t know anything about all of the escaped criminals, murderers, rapists, and con-men that boarded those ships bound for America.

Or about all of the immigrants that bordered those ships with forged documents or letters of transit that were bought & paid for while others had to wait or couldn’t come at all because they didn’t have the right connections.

All of you………..that are here now…………that are descendants from that wave………….are only here living the lives your living because America was only open for European continents, yet you all chastise the very people that were here before "them" just because they want to come back or have a shot at a halfway decent life.

Do some research on exactly who was here before who - who did what to who - who committed which crimes against who, and then try again.

I've already done that. I am more than happy to link you back to the "bill would end birthright citizenship" thread where I refuted your entire argument, in detail citing Supreme Court precedent.

I don't diddly about the 2nd Amendment, but what about the rights of the people who are already here to not have to pay the living expenses of an illegal alien and her kids. What about the right of the children born to legal and American-born mothers to a quality education--to not have to sit in class and wait for these latino children to catch up because they don't speak English. I'm sick of hearing about the rights of these women and their children. What about our rights as taxpaying citizens?

These women are a drag on the US economy and a drag on the education system.

This post is based on the false premise that we are all equal, and all play by the same rules. We aren't and don't. Europeans are not latinos and vice versa. Ask a fully assimilated Latino who he would rather live by: a European family paying their own way, or an illegal alien 'family' on Section 8 with four illegitimate children, and 12 cars in the driveway?
The culture of these people does not fit easily in the culture of America. In fact, it doesn't fit all, and they refuse to assimilate.
