Trump will sent 1,000 or 2,000 troops from Germany to Poland

It makes sense to me since Poland is closer to Russia. they should move all the troops stationed in Germany.

And since when is Russia a threat?

OK ... I also know that Russia is basically rated a threat for the Poles ... even if Russia were also a NATO member, the Poles would still view Russia as a threat.

Just gorgeous this hypocritical behavior towards Russia ... you can also make your enemies yourself like the USA and the Poles do it.

    Correct ...

    and as I wrote:

The German reaction to this bullshit of Trump is now only a yawn!

Remarks so far go by "who cares?" "why only so few and not just all US soldiers?"

Lol ... which invaders please? Maybe you, the USA?

There is no possible threat existing ... and please do not say Russia is, then I get a laugh attack about it!

The funny thing is ... Yes, the money is enough for our armed forces ... and why? Because it is for our national defense and our NATO alliance commitments ... and we have no global ambitions to interfere in anything that is not our concern. We do not need 11 aircraft carriers, bases in Asia and other places on the other side of the globe!

So... I'm really having a hard time grasping why you seem so upset US troops may be shifting to Poland from Germany? Germany doesn't seem to want a US military presence, and Trump doesn't like it either, so it sounds like a win/win for both parties.

Those US bases have always been there in order to keep Germans in check and, given their history, culture, and national character, it's absolutely necessary. We saw how Germans even spied and murdered each other during the Cold War and prior to the Wall coming down. They are still 100 or so years away from being completely civilized.

Wish an opinion poll could be added mid thread
    by anyone.

Who Would You Rather See Profit and Feel The Economic Benefits of :flagus: Troop Placement?
    choose one
    1) Germany
    2) Poland

    Moi votes Poland.

AND my main disappointment :angered: with Trump is he is not
    withdrawing troops as advertised.
    Especially Afghanistan.
So Moi's First Choice is Bring The Troops Home!
Incessant deployments do nothing to guarantee "our" security
as the Vietnam War and beyond.
    More intelligence, less military.

I'm a Trump supporter but I don't think anything should be called "fort" anything unless that person served

If Hillary was the president, we would be at war right now. Look what she and Obama did to Libya, Syria and Ukraine? Pres. Trump is having a hard time fighting the forces in Washington that backed Obama and Hillary such as Soros and his 'ideologue' one world order freaks.

Every time Trump tries to better relations with Russia the MSM starts its demonizing and propaganda campaign. They never stop. Even now when Mueller found no collusion between Trump and Putin, they are continuing. The same lies are said over and over again to throw us into a war with Russia. So don't tell me they are not influenced by some malevolent force (satan), because what they're doing defies all logic.

    Conspiracy theories come and go,
and yet with Trump it can't be so.
It's Putin here, it's Russia there,
It's what we're told you know?

The years will come and years will pass,
but this one's sure to last and last,
for Russia must remain a foe.
That's what we're told you know? - Jeannette

Poland has always been suicidal, and I guess this is their latest attempt. How brilliant! Nothing like provoking the bear.

I toot my horn and dance with glee
    when listening to the reverie
of lands a-far. For what I know,
it's but a show and soon they'll go.

But not before they suffer dear
for having poked the Russian bear - Jeannette

I also dont care if trump moves 2,000 US troops to Poland

Why not station them a country that is friendly to the US?

My preference would be to bring the troops home and withdraw from NATO. We should provide for our defense and the EU should provide for theirs. I think it is fair to say that Poland is our best European ally right after the UK. So if we are going to help defend someone, Poland is a good choice at least.

Better buy some new brooms to arm yourselves with.

We understand that Germany has never met it's NATO commitments, and has already reneged on the 2024 deal.

    We know.

Do you read what you post? Our Green Berets are training these folks, HERE, so they can go home and train their fellow troops on ways to more effectively defend their OWN borders.

A few years ago, when US Troops were about to be removed from a German community, the resisents rose in protest because of all the revenue it brought in.

I just as soon see the Poles get that money. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...ops-bid-auf-wiedersehen-idUSTRE80Q1A620120127
