Congress never denied the wall. They approved the wall in 2006. Trump has merely juggled money that has been approved.

You remember, how Obama did it for DACA funding.

Oh lord, a Hillary supporter is upset that Trump legally is working on the same Wall Obama worked on but current Democrats weep over. Amazing. I have long wondered if there is even 1 thing done by Trump he approves. So far nothing.

The democrats were expecting about the number of seats they gained because historically it usually worked out that way. Then after they gained the seats, they said it was all due to Trump.

    Pelosi said "just one dollar"
We have laws against illegal immigration, laws against smuggling drugs and sex traffickers crossing our border. We have many laws which cite these, and other activities as illegal. So your failed attempts at deflection are also off point.

If the money is already appropriated for use by the executive branch, how is this considered "robbing money?" Trump is the head of the executive branch, he cannot rob from himself.

The dems gained fewer seats than people think. The democrats actually lost seats in the US Senate.

Trump has the law. But it is designed to request funding as the wall is being built.

We have laws about seat belts and talking on a cell phone while driving and smoking pot amd running red lights.

And after his government shutdown and all his bluster Trump got less than he could have gotten before the shutdown. And he didn't get a cent for a wall.

Well if the Democrats would have played fair, Trump wouldn't of had to do it. But the fact he is going to get the money and the wall will go up, yes, that's still winning and one more promise he's kept.

Wasn't it unconstitutional for Obama to enact the DACA? Even he admitted it was.

Some of it will. Not the money that Congress gave him and they are saying there is more he can spend that can't be tied up in court, like the
    Drug interdiction
Current law gives the president power to rely on the Department of Defense for drug interdiction in certain cases, even without a national emergency. The law says the Pentagon can assist in that effort through the building of fences and other measures. The White House believes it can draw about $2.5 billion through this provision.

Obama promised we would pay $2,500.00 less for our insurance. He also said he had one million shovel ready jobs just waiting for him to be elected. What does either have to do with protecting our border?

Deflection at it's finest. You can't defend Trump's lie. Note.

Money has already been appropriated by Congress for use by various the Executive Branch agencies, general funding. Since there is no way congress can predict what issues those agencies will come up against, most money is in a giant pool of money, used by those agencies as they see fit. So yes, Trump may direct monies be used to repair, upgrade existing fencing, and erect new or improved barriers, etc... There are existing laws which allow the president to use general funds to do exactly that.

The blatant hypocrisy of the democratic party and followers is apparent. It's OK if democrats do it.
