Trump's lethal aversion to reading

A massive amount of information comes into the White House from many sources.. It would be impossible for the president to look at everything. That applies to the PDB.

 

So it is your contention that the PDB goes to others first, sifted through, and then given to POTUS. Again, any linked proof of that?

 

I have never worked for any large organization where someone did not screen material before it is put on the bosses desk. Trump has a chief of staff whose job would be to insure that is done. No one, not even someone from intelligence, is going to walk into the oval office and throw something on the president's desk. I am not going to waste my time on looking for something which should be obvious.

 

Well, I think you should spend a little time looking, because you've never worked in the Oval. POTUS isn't just some boss, and the intelligence briefers are not just some staff. This is the most delicate intelligence information in the world - and it isn't sifted through by an underling to determine what POTUS needs to know and what someone else can handle. It is compiled, specifically, for POTUS. And given to him.

What a ridiculous false equivalency. Its about Trump and his incompetence. Say what you will about obama but he read his PDB religiously. Imagine missing 47 out of 2800 or so. Why its an obvious dereliction of duty.

But President tweety's record of having a PDB on powerpoint and with lots of trumpian references and accolades thereby eliminating any need to read anything is an example of his outstanding manly leadership skills.

At least you have to wonder what Obama missed. Given trump's "transparency" we don't have to wonder about all the stuff that has flown right by the dear leader's head..

 

Obama never incurred non-stop on slaught of negativity both from the opposing party and factions of the media as Trump has.

Go find a cache view of this very forum during Obama presidency you might find a thread, maybe two critical of Obama on the current events forum, and they were never OMG! The Sky is Falling! nonsense.
