TSA reminds passengers: don't bring grenades or rocket launchers on planes

    “The right way to pack a grenade is not to pack it at all. Passenger at EWR airport had this in his checked bag on Saturday. TSA contacted police, who removed the man from the plane for questioning. Explosives experts determined that it was a realistic replica, also not allowed on planes.”

    Thank God I read this before I got to the airport!

    .@TSA officers at @BWI_Airport detected this missile launcher in a checked bag early this morning. Man said he was bringing it back from Kuwait as a souvenir. Perhaps he should have picked up a keychain instead!

    Thing is, the guy was let go and caught another flight, (or the same one)

    I think I'd take the train if he was next to me. Having a fine meal in the dining car, watching the passing scenery and not being blown to smithereens can be so relaxing.

    it was a fake replica in his checked bag, nothing to fear, weird, but not dangerous

    Oh I don't know. If he pulled that out on an airplane and pulled the pin I'd at the least need clean underwear.
