I'd be in that group. My Iroquois ancestry aside, my European ancestors arrived from Scotland, Wales, and France after the war and after Emancipation. It also seems to me that all the blood shed to bring about the end of slavery is as priceless as the lives who suffered under it....and balances the scales of justice. Not to mention that slavery was practiced worldwide for thousands of years on every continent. So Rep Lee can get off her high horse because her ancestors hands are as dirty as anyone else's. There are also no slaves or slave owners living in America.

Try apartheid rule installed by the US government. It only ended in the 1960's. That is only two decades after WWII. Plenty of people alive today personally benefited that black people could not go to a normal school. Them lot are of the same generation of the US president.

Affirmative Action is now facing its 20th year of, sabotage, by White racists plus it is mainly used in America now to uplift White women White HISP and White LGBT ... Blacks have been, abandoned, so now Reparations are due.
