Cops are getting off too easy for killing unarmed people without cause.

What has probably happened here is that the prosecutor over-charged Shelby in the knowledge that by doing so the charge would be rejected by the jury.

Prosecutors are part of the system of injustice that allows cops to get away with murder.

People love killer cops. They've been brainwashed by the movies. A cop could kill the average juror's mother and the juror would find him "not guilty".

If we can't trust the justice system, there's nothing we can trust and that's a bad place to be.

I don't blame the cop I blame the training
Cops are trained to believe the worse in every situation they are trained the suspect isn't going for his wallet in his pocket he is going for a gun shot him be for he pulls it
Cops are trained to react on reflex not thought hesitation gets you killed
the way cops are trained needs to be rethought cops need to be train to hesitate to think trained not to shot unless shot at
yes more cops might die in the line of duty with that type of training and protocol but we would have less civilians getting shot

If she didn't know, she should not have shot. Why don't that make better sense?

Talk is cheap from a guy who's never worn a badge. The suspect kept walking to his car, not listening to police commands.

Because the vast majority of the time when a suspect is not following commands and going towards his car, he is looking for a weapon. You'd know this if you were ever a certified FTO, but you're not.

It is unfortunately more common for blacks to be anti-cop and be brazen, not following commands when promoted to. The man who was killed brought this on himself.

What would you do if you told a suspect to stop walking towards their car and they didn't. It's easy to talk like a tough guy behind a computer.

The training worked fine. The suspect did not comply, put the cop in a corner by walking towards the vehicle. Cry more.

doesn't matter - because if he was reaching for a gun, it would have been any of them that could have gotten shot.
you may not care how many cops are killed, but i do.

Did you really just advocate that cops should be trained to make their job riskier, there by putting their lives at more risk, than to tell the public to obey police instructions?

I have never been through police training so I can not speak to what they learn, but as a kid I was taught.......do what I cop says. Have I dealt with asshat cops......hell yes. Did I do what they asked though......hell yes.

Pathetic how much leftists don't care for the safety of law enforcement officers. They would rather anyone wearing a badge have their lives be of least important more than some gang banging thug.

Why shot him in the leg or some other form of non-lethal deterant. Man I'm not trying to argue with you, just trying to make sense of this. Citizens have rights and capital punishment should not be the first option.

It does matter, besides his hands were over his head and he didn't have a gun.

I care also when an unarmed man is killed.

"shoot him in the leg" LOL
Like I said, unless you've worn a badge, you wouldn't know.
I'm an FTO and have worn a badge for eight years, training with both high risk security details and police. You don't know what the hell you're talking about.

it does not when he was told to stop walking towards his car. You don't get points for only half listening.
