The Democratic Party had a legitimate rock star coming into this election cycle. The woman is smart, decisive, charismatic, and has impeccable character.

She won every debate she was in. Independents, and even Republicans have voiced that they could support her. But, why has the Democratic Party and their power base attacked her and dragged her down?

The real story about the Democratic estabishment's hate of Tulsi Gabbard goes back to the 2016 election.

Tulsi was DNC Co-Chair. She was part of the leadership with: Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Donna Brazille, and Stephanie Blake Rollins (Ex-Mayor of Baltimore). When Tulsi saw, before any of it became news, how the DNC was slanting $, resources, and their efforts to Hillary Clinton, she spoke out. When the DNC refused to do anything, but ramp up their efforts to take out Bernie Sanders and prop up Hillary Clinton, she resigned in protest. The press barely covered it. The only story I could find back in the day came out of The Guardian (UK).

Tulsi has been a target since. Hillary Clinton's team have ensured that she will not have any traction. The dirty tricks against her this cycle were rotten. They even got Google into the act to shut her down after she won the first debate. When Google, was called on their active move to shut down Gabbard's campaigning ability, they said, "ooops... our bad." But, by then the #1 searched candidate missed that high volume window of eyes and minds.

Tusli will forever been blacklisted by Democrats and scumbags like TYT. Until Hillary Clinton passes and her regime is gone, Tulsi has no chance. If Liz Warren is the choice, Tulsi will be screwed indefinitely. Note: Liz is on the Clinton train.

She is the one person that I think can stand toe to toe with Trump on stage and actually beat him in a General Election. Trust me, your early polls are simply establishment illusions.

You Democrats have a star, but apparently if you are told by the DNC, Clinton, MSM, Leftist IT Cabal machine to hate her, you follow right along dutifully. I

She was the sanest of all of them. They threw out their best chance.

Absolutely, she was brilliant when I heard her talk. Trump would definitely have had a tough time debating her. She was the best the dems had by far.

She is a Progressive, but I get your point on why she puts up with the attacks on her by the DNC, Establishment Left.

Her interviews tell Leftists how they have a real champion.

I'm sad and glad that they missed out on her at the same time.

The DNC was so scared of Tulsi that they demanded that Google censor Tulsi Gabbard. to knock her out of the race.

I believe the lefties fear anyone and everything they cannot control. Gabbard with many of her positions would have taken many votes from Trump. Enough to beat him? Probably not but a lot more than the 25 in the current democrat clown car.

It's like 90% of them are ****ing robots anymore. They back who they are told to back, they think the way they are told to think.

Most of them don't know the dirty deeds of the DNC, MSM, and Big Tech that have be taken against her. They should be asking themselves, why is the Democratic Establishment so afraid of her? It's because she is against the Military Industrial Complex, She's against the massive waste in Social Services, she wants the money to go directly to those in need, not washed through a massive bureaucracy. The problem is, what she says will work and makes sense, it's like they don't want solutions, only problems.

I've heard somebody suggest that the DNC doesn't control Google or the MSM, the MSM and Google control the DNC.

Trump could never have been elected when the right had the reigns of our political establishment. Gabbard should be planning to run the instant the left loses hold of it.

I share your belief that Tulsi was railroaded. I also agree that the press has been near silent with regards to Clinton/DNC meddling in our electoral process.

I think another big factor is Tulsi spoke out against a taboo Establishment subject - that Obama armed and supported the 911 terrorist group Al Qaeda - and other Islamist extremist groups of the same ilk and agenda - in the war in Syria - as did Clinton.

Not only did she speak out but introduced the "Stop Arming Terrorist Act" - one of the template bills to determine who is corrupt and who is not.

The bill got 13 bipartisan co sponsors in the house (out of 435) and a total of Zero Cosponsors when introduced by Rand Paul in the Senate.

This forced a very uncomfortable question - Do we arm Al Qaeda - ISIS and others of the same ilk ... or do we not ? How much media coverage has that question received .

Perhaps clowns have a legitimate reason for arming and supporting Al Qaeda ... Great - lets hear it ? Is that not what a fair and free media is supposed to elicit ? Why Santa - why are you stealing our Christmas tree ? Why did you vote to arm the 911 Terrorists while they are going around raping, torturing and murdering Christians, other marginalized groups - and doing a host of other horrors >>>> Why Mitch .. Why ???

Pick a few of those on the Armed services committee - who voted "YES YES - we want to continue arming Al Qaeda" and ask them "Why" ?

Don't hold your breath if you think that is going to happen :)

I don't think they will with the MSM and Big Tech pushing the establishment left agenda. I think they are now so Orwellian, with a bunch of "Useful Idiots" as their base, that they have locked in with a march towards Authoritarianism / Globalism.

She is brilliant, likable and she's the one current Democrat running for president I have a great amount of respect for.

I agree with her on a few issues, disagree with her on most and will probably vote for Trump. But maybe not, and I can't say that about any other current candidate...

^^^^ This is what I am talking about. We have these lockstep Leftists that have a real solid Progressive with an amazing presence, and this Leftist will just toss Tulsi out. It's strange to me.

Exactly. She is a Progressive with actual crossover appeal. The Leftist / Establishment don't want her, BECAUSE SHE IS A REAL LEADER AND WILL NOT BE CONTROLLED.

I am just stunned at what sheep the Left voter base really has become.

But what did YOU do to entice her to the dark side? :p

Judging by this thread if she ran as an independent she would have a strong base

As to why she did not run as a conservative? There are a LOT of female conservatives that find Trump just nasty toxic and can see the support for that attitude within the party

The problem is that they weren't robots when it was Sanders who was railroaded. They still voted for Clinton, but would have been much happier if it was Sanders.

As difficult as it is for me to figure out the left, their rejection of Gabbard isn't hard at all. She's not left enough for the democratic base. She would have a better chance in the general election than the current front-runners, but it would be a hollow victory because they wouldn't get free stuff with her. There would be no free healthcare, free college, free money, and free abortions on demand. Sure, extra restrictions on gun ownership would be a good thing, but that's just not enough.

They'll be happiest with Warren, and I'm sure the DNC elites are pulling him aside and telling him that maybe he should give one last speech saying he thinks Warren would be an awesome president, and he doesn't want to be the guy who kept the first female from becoming President.

    Tulsi had Trump's number.

IIRC the current Democratic hierarchy is very wary of Gabbard's family background. Her father was a major opponent of LGBT rights and they feel that if elected to a high office Gabbard would revert to his general views.

Because Republicans won't back a Pro-Choice Candidate who thinks the military/industrial complex is a blight on America.

And Republicans will never back a non-Christian. They be freaks that way.

Having a principled president would certainly be a startling change for the good.

However, your example doesn't suggest she's better than all other Dem candidates nor does in indicate she has the capabilities needed for the office - which is clearly something Republicans don't even bother thinking about.
