    "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" foreign policy that the US has been running for the last several decades has been an absolute disaster.

    Because they are doing what many of our rulers want to do, and they admire them. Remember, the Princeton Study which was either blacked out or ignored by MSM evidenced we were either moving into fascism, Oligarchy, or we were already in it, is authoritarian and fascist. Our congress and president created it by only representing the self interests of our elites, banking cabal, MNCs and the elites who own them, which shows up in 40 years of public record legislation, trade policy and regulations.

    The return of the oligarchs gave us this scheme of open borders free trade globalism, which sends as much of the income pie to the top as possible which is one reason we now demonize Putin and Russia for they are not agreeable to this scheme which makes them an enemy of our elites. Remember, what we call American interests are not your or my interests, but the interests of our elites. Our foreign policy reflects this, which is why to many of us it seems to be insane. Our economic policy which has hollowed out America looks insane, but it is very beneficial to those elites. So, if you are not on board with our elites, like Russia isn't on board, they are demonized and turned into a great and evil enemy, even if they no longer are communist and pushing for an expanding communist revolution.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_censorship_in_Iran

    Man that pot sure must look different than your kettle doesn't it?

    Sites blocked in Iran
    - Facebook
    - YouTube
    - Twitter
    - Google Plus

    Total average of 27% of all sites on the internet blocked, yikes. Man you are a hypocrite.

    Tone down, block does not makes Turkey the embodiment of evil. Besides, it can be, I am sure, easily bypassed through the proxy.

    It's unpleasant. Concerning. But not the end of the world. Plus - I was able to open Wiki through turkish proxy, so it's 50/50 that either block is lifted already, or that proxy is somehow not affected.

    Good. Remember that fascism rules when folk do nothing to oppose it- and the Turkish regime has just arrested and imprisoned thousands of political opponents.

    If it is so - then let's discuss it in proper thread. I saw one about Wiki block, and responded in it.

    ..a-and I pretty much do not see thread about any arrest. Why not you make one?

    The latest- there are many thousands more;

    That's why it's important to report on any censorship in Turkey- or elsewhere.

    It is much more important to report the detaiments. You may add censorship, mention it, sure... ...but THAT kind of event that you presented above - should go before something as measly as block of a website.

    I agree- but it's good reporting. People are numb to commonplace arrests in Turkey- but blocking Wikipaedia ? Wow !.
