There is no country called Kurdistan and there will no country called Kurdistan as long as we live. Nobody can dare attack on Turkey’s own land. If they dare, then welcome to World War-III.

As a Turk, in Turkey, we are against Erdogan and we support Ataturk’s ideas, which mainly secular and modern. But, that we are against Erdogan does not mean we accept this foolish map! Even this map a reason of war. Turkey just protect its land against occupy threatens like that. Also, your media decides you what should you think, just like George Orwell’s 1984. Why you people believe in whatever the media says anything? What if Turkey is right?

If America occupied Iraq where far from 11-200 KM it is ok for media, but when Turkey started operation its border territory where just a few hundred KM aim to clean up terrorist threats against Turkey, then it’s unacceptable for media. I can’t see where is the justice? Is justice just for stronger one?

On October 8th there were a thousand US soldiers in Syria. Trump either lied or forgot.

    The Kurds beat ISIS..

Blaming Obama for whatever Trump does?

So what do you intend to do with the Kurds? They have been there for 2,000 years..

The US invasion of Iraq is a black mark on the US.. and a major blunder compounded on lies and stupidity.

Not everyone concludes that a friend has been betrayed and so we argue about it on olitical forums.

Boy Scouts is a great organization, they have merit badges and stuff.
When you recover you might run one by me, or not, as you wish.

Interestingly enough it's possible the US may take some kind of action given the fact the Turks have openly threatened American troops with artillery fire.

Well Trump said he would go back in and "blast" them.. but the military brass says it won't work because NOBODY will fight with us since Trump's betrayal.

Trump seems to be spinning in circles. All he does is react... and he doesn't seem to know what is going on. We currently have 1,000 US soldiers in Syria not 50.

So what they have been there for 2000 years? There are many minor etching groups in different places in the world. If all of them want their official country, what would be happen?

Turkey’s geopolitical location are not able to ignored for any country. if USA against Turkey then there is Russia. If Russia against Turkey, then there is USA. NATO may be against Turkey, but still there is another alternative called SCO...

As a result, nobody wants being enemy with Turkey just for PKK, which an officially terrorist group such as Talliban or ISIS, and have killed many of Turkish soldiers for decades.

Well that's a shame! From reading this forum, there seem to be so many eager volunteers for a 21st Century version of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade.

Those troops are not there to help the Kurds fight the Turks or even the Syrians and I doubt we made any kind of long term agreement to do either of those things. At some point we are leaving Syria and all the centuries old enmities will still be there as strong as ever.

If Trump decides to go back in he will have the same alliances that have always existed in this conflict because they are alliances of convenience. The enemy of my enemy is my friend...….sort of.

No the Kurds have already said no.. Our soldiers said they fought shoulder to shoulder with the Kurds for the past 5 years.

I don't think you have been paying attention. Why are you making so many excuses for Trump? Nobody stays with him.. The smart guys leave, the lesser one get caught up in lies, scandal and fraud. How many more have to go to jail?

Not making excuses, just looking at it realistically.

Lies and scandal? Who is telling the lies and are they the basis for the scandals?

If we go in and it serves Kurdish interests they will work with us as long as it fits their purpose. We will always be the biggest dog in the pack.

Remember that scene in Indiana Jones? The Muslim with the sword and the American with the gun? I liked that outcome. It was moral. It was justice. I think Turkey needs a little taste of justice for its crime against the Kurds.

I'm not debating, I'm enlightening, an as to whether or not a friend has been betrayed? Hell, lets ask the the ones betrayed, the Kurds. A few days ago, no bombs falling. One phone call to Trump, bombs falling. What do they call that in the pragmatic world, the cost of doing business with an imbecile?

Trump's a great President, he uses smart phones and stuff.

    @ArmySoldier

Last week Trump was really aggressive .. He told EVERYONE that if Erdogan attacked the Kurds he would destroy Turkey's economy.. Then one unplanned phone call on Wednesday and Erdogan steamrolls him flat. What the hell?

Christian Leaders Say Turkish Invasion Of Syria Raises Risk Of 'Genocide'

    https://www.npr.org/2019/10/09/7686...sh-back-on-turkish-invasion-of-northern-syria

3 days ago · About 40,000 or 50,000 Christians live in the area under attack, according to Ishak, president of the Syriac National Council of Syria, and U.S. Christian leaders have been almost unanimous in...

    Excerpt:

The airstrikes and artillery bombardments had barely begun in the Syrian city of Qamishli, just across the border from Turkey, when Bassam Ishak's cellphone began ringing.

"People were so scared," Ishak said. "They were telling me, 'They are bombing us right now!' "

Ishak, a Syriac Christian leader, was in Irbil, Iraq, monitoring developments along the Syria-Turkey border.

Turkey Launches Offensive Against Kurds In Northern Syria

"The attacks are widespread," Ishak told NPR by phone. "They are targeting residential areas in Qamishli, where people of all religious backgrounds live. We think this is a message to the Kurds and Christians there to leave, so Turkey can move refugees there. We think it's a form of ethnic cleansing."

Number of Kurds in the world
A People Without A Home. The Kurds, an ethnic group numbering around 30 million people, is widely recognized to be the largest stateless national group in the world. While Kurdistan is known for its strong cultural unity, Kurdistan is home to numerous languages, religions and political factions.

So what exactly do you want Trump to do? What's your war plan. You never answer that as asked of you.

I would say the second thing both Turkey and the Kurds must do is renounce violence...because of the first thing they must realize to do the second thing--we are all human before all else.

I don't know how many Kurds are terrorists.. I seriously doubt its all 30 million. The only person who isn't paying for the civil war in Syria is Assad.

You think Putin will let Erdogan kill Syrian Christians?
