Never before in the history of our nation have We the People had the opportunity to have a first hand insight into the workings of the mind of the person in the Oval office.

Until now everything was always FILTERED through the lens of political intentions and the media.

But through a strange convergence of technology and egotism we now have this opportunity in spades given that he has provided us with 38,000+ tweets.

I have no doubt that this is all going to be the source of a great many research papers and perhaps even doctoral studies in the future.

However what is more pertinent is what it is telling us about the occupant of the Oval office now.

The primary job of leaders is to make the difficult decisions. When it comes to being the leader of the free world those decisions need to be made with careful deliberation after considering all of the various factors. Nixon introduced a policy of requiring all arguments on these decisions to be provided to him in writing so that he could read and think about them without the influence of anyone else to distract his thought processes. That continued through subsequent administrations with the notable EXCEPTIONS of Bush/Cheney and now the BLOTUS.

The evidence of Twitterrhea exposes a mind that is distracted by irrelevancies and focused upon self aggrandizement above all else to the detriment of our nation and We the People.

Above all else Twitterrhea tells us that the occupant of the Oval office is NOT a leader because none of the essential leadership attributes are in evidence.

Holding carnival barker style rallies does not qualify as a leadership attribute because it is motivated entirely by egotism.

This Twitterrhea condition should be used by the electorate to make an INFORMED decision about the upcoming Primaries and the General Election. The function of these elections is for We the People to choose ourselves a new leader since we deserve better than someone afflicted with a serious case of Twitterrhea IMO.

Just curious, if you don’t like it why you spend so much time reading it? I don’t have any interest in anything on Twitter. So I’ve never participated in it in any way. It’s pretty simple really. I think zombie movies are stupid. So I don’t watch them.

If instead of tweeting Trump got on the radio and read the same thing out you'd still have a problem with it, if FDR hypothetically put his fireside chats word for word into a few dozen tweets you wouldnt have an issue with this.
