When you can sit in a high rise and fire 1,000s of swimming pools into a crowd of people from 500 yards away then we can have that conversation.

Your comparisons are childish and grossly inaccurate.

How quickly the left nut-jobs try to pull the NRA into this.

Careless people will always be careless people. OR 'You cannot fix stupid'

Gun Control os a BS slogan anyhow. Want to decrease the use of guns in commission of crimes then target the groups that apparently cannot handle guns appropriately and who account for the vast majority of gun related criminal activities.

One off nut cases are just that, one off...

Leave everyone else the frick alone...

That is what happens when you have 500M guns in the country. I've never heard a gun shot in the country where I live

I presume that this church is not a gun free zone. It's a good job that other carriers did not start a massive gun fight after hearing the gun fire

"target the groups that apparently cannot handle guns," then you are going to target those Red States which probably have the highest rate of membership in the NRA

The NRA is the gun manufactures, they may have individual members who send in large sums of money, but they are run by the gun manufacturers

And everyone would leave gun owners the "frick alone" if not for the fact that guns in America are killing over thirty thousand Americans a year, nine thousand plus homicides, the better request would be for gun owners to leave the rest of America 'the frick alone"

    I did have a gun.

The neighborhood is worse today, but I am fortunate to have raised my kids in a much safer area.

Translation: I'm 100% wrong, Max. You are correct and I was wrong to imply that the only purpose of guns are to kill people.

Funny watching you moving those goalposts. They look heavy. :)

I see some posting gun safety rules.
But aren't there some states that hand out CCW without any safety classes?

It's funny that many reports are saying that they were just talking about the other church shooting to save embarrassment but the real reason was that the meeting was about future gun safety in the church

Sweet! Them laws is a changin'!

Still, I'd recommend people get training not only for their own safety, but to be able to hit their target center of mass when it's necessary.

Exactly. Well over 30,000 Americans die each year in car accidents yet not a single LW anti-gunner is proposing stronger restrictions on driving much less banning them. Why? Because as one forum anti-gunner stated "A car is a necessity" meaning he likes his driving privileges.

    I can guess

There were actually 50 terrorists and 20 mass killers not to mention the 25 rapiats that were also shot with just one bullet from that gun!!!

Yes. Correct. Mass transit and professional services like cabs/Uber (with increased licensing restrictions) can supply all transportation needs. It just wouldn't be as convenient. If the LW anti-gun mob wasn't hypocritical, then they'd happily give up some convenience to save 33,000+ lives.

Car drivers must have a license and insurance (yea, but what about illegal drivers, blah, blah....). How many miles are driven and how much time is spent driving to achieve those 30,000 deaths?

    That is what I thought
We'll have 1000s and 1000s of people carrying with no clue how to operate a gun.

I can't speak for every state, but mine has made it longer for a new driver to be able to drive by themselves. There's a pre license they get that means they can only drive with a single licensed driver.
They used to be able to drive like all other drivers when they got their real license.
Now they must drive for 6 mo - 1 yr? by themselves only or close family members. After that probationary period, then they can drive with the same freedoms as all other experienced drivers.
My guess is many states have something similar.

All those rules and regulations yet you still kill well over 30,000 people a year? You must be doing it wrong. :)

Yes, I noticed you completely dodged the point; you complain about 11,000+ gun murders as justification for banning guns, but think 30,000+ auto deaths is okay because it's regulated.
