The solution is in restoring grassland soil carbon. This is accomplished by mimicking wild herds.

Cow-calf farms converting to multi-paddock grazing in the Southern Great Plains likely net carbon sinks

    http://twri.tamu.edu/publications/c...outhern-great-plains-likely-net-carbon-sinks/

I have been studying this in school. Regenerative agriculture is the solution to the greenhouse effect as well as to the red tides.

Please do not derail this thread. Whether or not climate change is real is not the topic.

All good suggestions. Let us all begin the process. The IPCC are showing their real angst these days. Worried that the US will defund their US hater organization. Time to pump up the propaganda, and time to beat the funding drums to sustain these ingrates...

China and India are putting out way more pollution than the US and Europe. Until you see the left dramatically confront those two countries on this issue, you know it’s just more typical tricks and subversion against the West from the usual sources.

What efforts can local Eco-Activists do to influence those foreign countries?

China spent $100 billion on reforestation. So why does it have 'green deserts'?

Oh well, we are all going to die.
    It's such a shame.

Well, there are some who say we are on the verge of the 6th mass extinction, including humans. Although we are already in the mass extinction related to global deforestation.

    There is a solution.

Any attempt to slow global warming has just been a shakedown of the U.S.

I’ll listen when they don’t want to get into our wallets.

I heard that reforestation is occurring.

As for the solution, nah, it's too late sorry.
    Just die quietly.
That is the solution. Less humans. Those who care most about the environment commit suicide.
    Problem solved for everyone.

Have you read the report? I skimmed it, and didn't see anything about cap and trade, but I may be mistaken.

Do you realize the level of sheer depravity of your comment? Apparently you don't or you would not have written it.

You may end up being the only person on my ignore list.

Great stuff. Which foreign (or US based) Eco-Activist group is responsible for the Chinese Govts push on this?

I don't know, but are you saying that environmentalists had nothing to do with it? That is absurd man.

I hear ya loud and clear! I am on board with Savory. The research is being done, and these methods are not only better for the environment, they are profitable.

The presumption is that we're capable of acting in global concert, that the situation is within our collective control, and that such action will have the desired effect.

We're not, it isn't, and it will not.

That is the purpose of the IPCC. It may not be perfect, but it is useful in some ways.

I’m what one would consider a skeptic, but climate changes. It always has and always will.

Stuff like this though.... it’s practical, simple, inexpensive, and if his estimates are right, it’s light years better than any carbon capping, taxing, money redistribution plan that have been on the table. Want pre-industrial era temps? He thinks his solution will do that. I can get behind that. Use nature to work with nature so to speak.

It’s currently being done on 5 continents... there’s hope.

Oh good. You should let Brewskier know, because he seems to think that the environmentalists only focus on North America because their aims are not the environment but some sort of communist/socialist takeover. (which is what started this discussion train)
