    WRONG again!

There is NOTHING "fake" about DENYING women their RIGHTS which is EXACTLY what YOU are doing by SUPPORTING the NEFARIOUS TX anti-abortion law.

Not the "I posted links from the raging anti abort site Princeton EDU" claim again. Where indeed you posted riviting science - the sum total of which was that the zygote is 1) A single human cell 2) has Human DNA.

Now Blue -- we all get that the zygote is a single human cell .. and human DNA goes with the human cell part.

The problem is that the Science you posted does not address the question of why being this single human cell makes that cell a Person .. with rights, including the right to life.

So a massive fail once again on your part.. as a human cell is not a human.. nor is it a "Human-Being" even though it is a being that is human.. Trick or Treat .. :cheerleader::cheerleader::cheerleader:.

    What problem?

Call it a "baby" and take your case to the Supreme Court and it won't help your "case" at all :) :) :) :):)

IF it is made illegal then you don't argue the case...

What convoluted thinking and certainly doesn't do a thing to refute my post...

Considering who dies, and how it dies, it is the worst of all deaths to suffer.

When a person has no respect for themselves / their own life, and views their own human life as equivalent to apes, penguins, or cockroaches, and places their own whims in front of anyone and everyone around them, regardless of how their belligerent whims impact others, is it really a surprise that they lack even the slightest measure empathy for the life of a human child in its own mother's womb, and supports the equivalent of squashing that human infant with their shoe like it is just some bug crawling across their animal feces stained carpet?

Abortion is the most heartless, inhumane, horrible thing I have ever heard of - it is the equivalent of being Ted Bundy, in my opinion.

A human child is not just another excrement stain in someone's underwear.

ROFL yeah all the medical textbooks are raging anti-abortion........Princeton University is a anti-abortion university...............lack of rebuttal noted.

A zygote is not "just" any ole human cell is it, it is a unique human life. And already given you the definition of person which is a unique human being which is even the human life at the moment of conception. Your basic lack of knowledge of biology on full display here. And "rights" have nothing to do with science, that is for the legal. I follow the science and so should the legal. I though you were all about the science of things. Is that a selective principle that does not apply when it refutes your political position?

Cells are not cells are not cells, it depends on the TYPE of cell.....biology 101.

OH well that would make it OK? Nonsense and no it is not always done under anesthesia. I guess had they used anesthesia on persons being drawn and quartered they it would not have been so horrible a practice.
The fact is pro-abortion supporters have opposed bills REQUIRING it which it is not.

LOL .. "you define a person as a unique human being" What a joke of a definition... A persion is a unique person .. a human being is a unique human being. Is that what you learned in Biology ?

What you don't do .. is explain how this single cell qualifies as a human ... We all get its a single human cell .. what is so special about this single human cell that makes it a human..

and no .. Running around crying "Its a human -- its a person" does not count .. repetition of premise is not support for claim...

So -- how is this cell so darn special mate...

You havn't presented any medical science perspectives ... given nothing other than 1) is a human cell 2) has human DNA.

I have asked you numerous times if you had anything else to add and you have not done so.

And sorry .. Science does not state that because something is a single human cell with human DNA - that it is a Human.

And what you have yet to deal with is the fact that the science you presented does not support your claim. You can't even manage a basic definition of what a person is .. other than running around crying "A Person is a human" like in your previous post . repetition of premise fallacy.

At the ZYGOTE stage of life THAT single cell is a HUMAN LIFE. Basic biology. And within 4 days THAT single celled human life becomes TWO cells then FOUR then EIGHT and cell specialization begins and all through the various stages of that human life which began at the conception of that human being. You have been sited the definition of "person", a unique human individual which is fully satisfied in the zygote stage of life and every stage of life to follow.

And why are you so hung up on just the zygote stage of life trying to justify killing the unborn baby? How many induced elective abortions even happen during the zygote stage of life?

And your claims I have presented nothing

    Again

"The development of a human being begins with fertilization, a process by which two highly specialized cells, the spermatozoon from the male and the oocyte from the female, unite to give rise to a new organism, the zygote."
[Langman, Jan. Medical Embryology. 3rd edition. Baltimore: Williams and Wilkins, 1975, p. 3]

"Embryo: The developing individual between the union of the germ cells and the completion of the organs which characterize its body when it becomes a separate organism.... At the moment the sperm cell of the human male meets the ovum of the female and the union results in a fertilized ovum (zygote), a new life has begun.... The term embryo covers the several stages of early development from conception to the ninth or tenth week of life."
[Considine, Douglas (ed.). Van Nostrand's Scientific Encyclopedia. 5th edition. New York: Van Nostrand Reinhold Company, 1976, p. 943]

"The development of a human begins with fertilization, a process by which the spermatozoon from the male and the oocyte from the female unite to give rise to a new organism, the zygote."
    [Sadler, T.W. Langman's Medical Embryology. 7th edition. Baltimore: Williams & Wilkins 1995, p. 3]

"Zygote. This cell, formed by the union of an ovum and a sperm (Gr. zyg tos, yoked together), represents the beginning of a human being. The common expression 'fertilized ovum' refers to the zygote."
[Moore, Keith L. and Persaud, T.V.N. Before We Are Born: Essentials of Embryology and Birth Defects. 4th edition. Philadelphia: W.B. Saunders Company, 1993, p. 1]

"Although life is a continuous process, fertilization is a critical landmark because, under ordinary circumstances, a new, genetically distinct human organism is thereby formed.... The combination of 23 chromosomes present in each pronucleus results in 46 chromosomes in the zygote. Thus the diploid number is restored and the embryonic genome is formed. The embryo now exists as a genetic unity."
[O'Rahilly, Ronan and M?ller, Fabiola. Human Embryology & Teratology. 2nd edition. New York: Wiley-Liss, 1996, pp. 8, 29. This textbook lists "pre-embryo" among "discarded and replaced terms" in modern embryology, describing it as "ill-defined and inaccurate" (p. 12}]
    http://www.princeton.edu/~prolife/ar...yoquotes2.html

"Recently, Dr. Robert George wrote an article outlining this whole topic in more detail. And if you want to really learn your stuff, pick up his excellent book entitled Embryo (I’m in the middle of reading it right now).
    In his words:
“That is, in human reproduction, when sperm joins ovum, these two individual cells cease to be, and their union generates a new and distinct organism. This organism is a whole, though in the beginning developmentally immature, member of the human species. Readers need not take our word for this: They can consult any of the standard human-embryology texts, such as Moore and Persaud’s The Developing Human, Larsen’s Human Embryology, Carlson’s Human Embryology & Developmental Biology, and O’Rahilly and Mueller’s Human Embryology & Teratology.” – Dr. Robert George
“Human embryos, whether they are formed by fertilization (natural or in vitro) or by successful somatic-cell nuclear transfer (SCNT — i.e., cloning), do have the internal resources and active disposition to develop themselves to the mature stage of a human organism, requiring only a suitable environment and nutrition. In fact, scientists distinguish embryos from other cells or clusters of cells precisely by their self-directed, integral functioning — their organismal behavior. Thus, human embryos are what the embryology textbooks say they are, namely, human organisms — living individuals of the human species — at the earliest developmental stage.” – Dr. Robert George

A New, Distinct Human Organism Comes into Being at Fertilization
It is undisputed that a new, distinct human organism comes into existence during the process of fertilization.[1] Scientific literature states the following:
    • “The fusion of sperm and egg membranes initiates the life of a sexually reproducing organism.”[2]
    • “The life cycle of mammals begins when a sperm enters an egg.”[3]
    • “Fertilization is the process by which male and female haploid gametes (sperm and egg) unite to produce a genetically distinct individual.”[4]
    • “The oviduct or Fallopian tube is the anatomical region where every new life begins in mammalian species. After a long journey, the spermatozoa meet the oocyte in the specific site of the oviduct named ampulla, and fertilization takes place.”[5]
    • “Fertilization – the fusion of gametes to produce a new organism – is the culmination of a multitude of intricately regulated cellular processes.”[6]
The government’s own definition attests to the fact that life begins at fertilization. According to the National Institutes of Health, “fertilization” is the process of union of two gametes (i.e., ovum and sperm) “whereby the somatic chromosome number is restored and the development of a new individual is initiated.”[7] Thus, in the context of human life, a new individual human organism is initiated at the union of ovum and sperm. One textbook similarly explains: Human development begins at fertilization when a male gamete or sperm (spermatozoon) unites with a female gamete or oocyte (ovum) to produce a single cell – a zygote. This highly specialized, totipotent cell marked the beginning of each of us as a unique individual.[8]
Thus, a new human organism is created before the developing embryo implants in the uterus – i.e., before that time at which some people consider a woman “pregnant.”

Anyone that has paid any attention to history knows that Nazis killed children with Downs Syndrome and other physical and mental challenges, did horrible experiments on live human twins, and exterminated as many Jewish people as they could to eliminate inferior, unworthy life.

If you have somehow made it to this point in life without ever learning that, do not ask me for a link, just Google it.

Or you can resort to that erudite internet retort, no, you do not know what you are talking about, that did not happen...

Posting volumes of links .. none of which state why the zygote is a human .. is no better than one citation which does not.

The development of a being (something that is alive) that is human does not begin at fertilization. Clearly these pro life morons - in a domain that is not even close to the subject matter domain - forgot that the sperm and egg are both alive - and human - human beings. Biology 101 mate .. get it .. got it .. good :)

Regardless .. no claim is made that a Zygote is a human in the above citation -- but even if this was the case .. that claim would need to be supported -and it is not.

There is no explanation of why this new organism should be classified as a human - and no claim is made that it is a human.

Perhaps you misunderstood what you were reading .. hope this helps.

Simple - the NAZI's believe they were superior and therefore could terminate a life on a whim if they want - same as abortion.

Well thank heavens for someone finally making their point clear ... making an argument ... it is true that the zygote is "A Life" and a Jewish Homo sapiens is also "a life" .. and a Cow is "A Life"

So just as you feel superior to terminate a life on a whim - so did the Nazi's ---:deadhorse:

So a nonsense point really in a desperate attempt to equate a zygote with a living human - but only able to do so in the most trivial way and pointless way.

Yes Maytee .. you to are a big bad Nazi by your definition .. thinking you are superior to that carrot you ate.
