And former UK PM David Cameron called Obama a self-absorbed narcissist, so what? The UK is upset at being made to pay their fair share of defense.

Anecdotally, having just been on a tour of Scotland with the Scottish tour guide, a man from Italy, a couples from S. Africa and Australia, brothers from the Czech Republic, and a family from Hong Kong............I can say Don's buffoonery is well understood around the world. My wife and I were asked how it happened that a fool like Trump could get elected in a country as great as the US. I explained we are no longer a great country. No nation that elects a racist moron can be considered great.

I agree that the UK needs to accept that the views of the US and President Trump are important, and treat them as being important.

 

And, if one wants respect, they need to show respect to others. It is not a 'given'.

 

I agree, the UK ambassador needs to show more respect to President Trump if he expects to get anything in return from the US. It's diplomacy 101.
