But why would Britain want the EU single market if it wants out of the EU? I don't get it. Merkel has also been saying that the process of Britain leaving has to start immediately so others will not follow suit, yet it seems the global 'elite' will not allow them to leave.

My feelings are that the new world order regime change freaks like George Soros are going to have a ball making a mess out of Britain... or rather destroying Britain the way they did the other nations who went against them.

Lot's of humanity and democracy there. So much for the so called; 'western values'. Looks more like tyranny to me.

British want the EU free market but don't want the free movement of persons?

    LOL!!!! such chutzpah.

the EU made it very clear today. With the free market of the entire European continent comes free movement of citizens. Don't like it? too bad.

If Britain doesn't want workers from Eastern Europe, then that is their right. I find it ironic that the same people who are refusing entrance to the Syrian refugees would be the same people with the 'hutzpah' to complain about Britain not wanting to take Eastern Europeans...

At least we get rid of that fool. He has been in the EP for something like 16 years doing nothing but insult people. A moocher who won't be missed.

LOL, you are so eager to smear a nation who wants its freedom.

What you posted is the output of todays EU meeting - a meeting which the UK did not attend. Its just the opening squeal from the EU buffoons, they are trying to send a message to all the other EU nations who are soon to vote on leaving the EU.

The US does a lot of trade with the EU but does not have to accept free movement.

I love Nigel Farage, especially when he's telling them off.

Anyway what's wrong with Cameron? If he's going to quit, then he should have left immediately and allowed the new government to cope with the transition. It seems he is not willing to help with it so what is he doing? I mean how can you go against the will of the majority of the people and expect anything other than chaos...

Cameron or whoever his bosses are, will probably destroy Britain for going against them. What the Nazis didn't manage, the EU will, I mean look at Ukraine, Libya, Iraq, Syria... We now have the regime change freaks doing it to Brazil as well. Eventually it too will turn into blood.

there can be no free market without the free movement of persons.

    that's the EU's deal.

Britain can take it or leave it

It's not the EU's deal, there is nothing like a deal yet, and I wouldn't put much stock in what these petty bureaucrats have to say.

The only petty adolescent is Farage. He has earned a lot of money for not doing his job in the EP. I find it quite amazing that you can watch that video and not be disgusted with the guy who doesn't show up for the meetings and doesn't do anything but insult and heckle the work of the European Parliament.

Given the fact that Brits also complain a lot about EU fishing policies one could have expected that they would have reprimanded him for not showing up for meeting on the fishieries committee.
I imagine people are just uninformed as usual.

I love the British for their sense of humor. A sign of brilliance. Nigel can laugh even when insulted.

There's already over 1 million Eastern European immigrants in Britain though, while there's next to no Middle Eastern immigrants in Eastern Europe.

    That's a big difference.

No, Putin is neither smart or capable enough for that. Brexit is the result of british folly, not putin's designs. Putin is the root of many problems... but not this one.
Oh they can have their "freedom".. but they won't get access to the common market

they have it clear they are committed to the partnership of "free trade + free movement".

if the UK can pull off a deal for free trade without free movement, that would be a neat trick.

Millions of Muslim refugees will permanently change the face of the EU, if they tolerate it.
