Johnson is wanting 'herd immunity'. I have to look at this video again but this is a prepared plan and in this video the guy outlines what the plan is. The UK was the first to consider this though others are now.

Originally the view was that the UK would see 510,000 deaths from doing nothing. Johnson made minimal changes and then was told it looked like we would see 250,000 deaths - why that would not be still 510,000 I do not know. Being told that and apparently everyone being alarmed about what is happening in Italy - probably today it will beat the acknowledged deaths in China, they have moved to what we have now which they think will result in around 20,000 deaths. The aim apparently being to get the number of deaths which the people will find acceptable. He deals with the economic situation too. That is his job. Great videos from this guy always - everything is not peer reviewed nor proved but I have been watching him since the beginning and most of what he says has come true with him saying it before others.

By the way when going for her immunity one thing we need to remember is we do not as yet even know if infection gives you immunity! ;)

If you look at videos of London they have locked themselves down already. My daughter claims that the reason Johnson has not as yet banned people is because if he banned them from doing these things insured people would be paid insurance for their loss of earnings. - a bit like why he would not ban people going on holiday to Italy when we knew the virus had taken off there - resulting of course in them bringing it back here - but that would also go with his desire for mass infection and 'herd immunity'.

Schools now shut over all of the UK.

Mine was an online shop as well. Asda!! However I was booking my next shop with Tesco's and they did not even have butter. I think it just depends on what they have on the day so I will go and add things there nearer the time. All the things I could not get were there when I booked three days before. There were eleven of them.

I might try that. I like a joke as much as the next man, but if this nonsense goes on much longer I am going to need some Lavazza coffee, cream and almond biscotti and the local Sainsbury's has come up as a bit of a dud in that direction.

The US Military is making 5,000,000 N95 masks for civilian use. I wonder why they would be doing that if they were not effective

The problem is that people keep touching their face and readjusting the mask meaning that they contaminate themselves with or without it. You don't have to breath it in to get infected. It can stay alive quite a long time on your skin, and up to 3 days on hard surfaces, and be introduced to your organism through your eye, ears or later in your mouth and nose if you didn't wash yourself. Even gloves have to be removed in a specific way to be effective.

The best protection is to wash your hand and other exposed skin surface often. The Covid-19 is quite vulnerable to soap which tears apart it's outer fatty layer. Also keep at least 3 feet of distance from others.

No condensed milk. It was alright when tea was made so that the spoon disintegrated in it but I don't trust this watery modern stuff.

This is getting out of control. I was in a public loo the other day and there were folk washing their hands. I was going to ask if they had peed on them or if the paper had broke but I didn't because folk are acting very odd lately.

No it is effective. Not full proof but it gives you a better chance. Of course if you want to make more sure you will need goggles and plastic gloves as well as doing everything else which is advised. :) N95 masks makes it difficult for the virus to come through but allows you to breathe out - that is allows you to contaminate others. If you believe you are infected a medical mask is what is needed. That does not give you any protection but makes it more difficult for you to hand it on to others. Of course you should not be out at all if that is your problem!

ANY type of soap? I've always thought of liquid soap as a far stronger soap than solid soap.

I've been hearing 5 feet, or 1.5 metres.

Both work. Both are great at dealing with fat.

If it were a proper winter, we would have 5 feet snow on the ground. But before this snow we had none on the ground, it all had melted. Very bad for our drought situation. This snow is very welcome, even that it is a pain in the arse.
