It's not evil and they're not courts of law, just for tribunals.

There's also Sharia banking, but no part of the union that's Sharia law.

I bet there's also Jewish courts too.

And a number of beth din courts which administer Jewish halaka law in Great Britain as well as CoE and RC Church courts.
