The 'Banderite' fascists who now control Ukraine, thanks to Victoria Nuland's coup, hate that the Nazis lost the war and are banning Victory Day. This includes the wearing of the Saint George ribbon.

Ukrainian officials said they will arrest anyone who holds photos at the memorial march and services of loved ones who died in the war against Nazism ... and attacks on ageing veterans have now become a regular occurrence.

Are these people for real? Here they are in Nazi uniforms reliving their glory days... no doubt in Lviv, where they were able to freely exterminate Jews, Poles and Russians in collaboration with the Nazi SS.

In two days, on the 9th of May, Russians throughout the world and others who commemorate the defeat of fascism in 1945 will celebrate Victory Day. However, Victory Day has been effectively banned in Ukraine, a former Soviet Republic that once celebrated on the 9th of May along with Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Serbia and others.

Ukraine also plans to arrest members of the Immortal Regime, a silent march of citizens holding photos of loved ones who fought in the Great Patriotic War (Second World War).

The Ukrainian authorities who banned Victory Day as a holiday shortly after the illegal coup of 2014 are now set to arrest individuals who commemorate the day at private and local memorials to veterans of the most deadly war in human history.

The Duran. :bleh: Why do you insist on posting this kind of nonsense on this forum?

You and the dumbass claim that Victory Day was "banned" or "effectively banned" in Ukraine back in 2014, yet there it is still being celebrated in 2016.

It wasn't banned before, but it is this year probably because Poroshenko was forced to unite with the Nazis to maintain power. If you notice in this video, you'll see the soldiers lined up to protect the participants from Nazi attacks.

As for the Duran, where else would I get a true picture of what's going on?

The Soviets were the real monsters of WW2. I can see why the Ukranians wouldn't want to celebrate it.

Oh then you wanted the Nazis to win? But they were exterminating the Slavs in Ukraine and Russia to grab their lands for Germany. Do you think that was right? Twenty million Russians died.

As for the Ukrainians, you're thinking of the Byzantine Catholics in Western Ukraine which was once part of Poland. They were the ones that sided with the Nazis in WWII and helped them exterminate the Poles, Jews and Russians . They wanted to establish a country of Ukraine free from Poland, Russia and the Jews...

As for the rest of Ukraine, it was always part of Russia. These are the ones the Nazis were killing, and the Ukrainian ones still are killing them, you're just not being told about it by the lying press. They want a war with Russia so they have to make them the bad guys.

Breaking - Our Ukrainian poster who boasted about the assassinations of the two Donbass heroes Givi and Motorola, also boasted that Zacharachenko the president of the Donbass Republic will be next. Well two explosives along the route he was to travel on in the Victory day parade went off prematurely today. They are expecting more disruptions to the Victory Day Parade by the American installed regime.

Hard to disagree. Both regimes were terrible.

Patton should have been allowed to continue to Moscow and liberate Russia :D

I object, example of Germany demonstrates that there can be no "liberation" by foreign army.

But not the people enslaved by Germany and living in poverty in southern Europe. I don't think you know the truth of what's going on, but then again you don't know what's going on in your own country so how could you. This is why Britain voted to get the hell out of the EU.

You "know" a bunch of anti-American and anti-EU baloney told to you by fake news and fellow kooks, e.g. your OP here about Victory Day. Care to acknowledge now just how wrong you and your fake news source are about that?

How ridiculous! Typical Kiev style propaganda showing a parade with the flag of western Ukraine who fought against the Soviet Union, and when anyone wearing the ribbon of Saint George representing the victory did so at the risk of their lives.

In the meantime, two bombs detonated early by mistake on the route Pres. Zacharshenko was to take in Donetsk. Well a Ukrainian poster did say he was the next one on their hit list.

Who beside deluded Liberals and Communists would want to celebrate their nation being taken over a second time by the same absolutely brutal Communists that already killed at least 7 million of their people in a genocide?

Save your praise of monsters for Halloween. Thank you.

Oh then Hitler was not to blame, and the Germans weren't exterminating the Slavs to take their lands? First though they exterminated the commissars who were Jews.

Oh so then the Germans weren't exterminating the Slavs and Jews, they were saving them as they marched into Russia? Then what's all this talk about a holocaust?

If the modern Ukrainians were celebrating some sort of Nazi occasion, then that would be different. But kudos for the Ukrainians not celebrating a communist victory and their nation being crushed under the Soviet boot till 1990.

The Holocaust you have obvious not hear about was the Holodomor:

The term Holodomor refers specifically to the brutal artificial famine imposed by Stalin's regime on Soviet Ukraine and primarily ethnically Ukrainian areas in the Northern Caucasus in 1932-33.

In its broadest sense, it is also used to describe the Ukrainian genocide that began in 1929 with the massive waves of deadly deportations of Ukraine's most successful farmers (kurkuls, or kulaks, in Russian) as well as the deportations and executions of Ukraine's religious, intellectual and cultural leaders, culminating in the devastating forced famine that killed millions more innocent individuals. The genocide in fact continued for several more years with the further destruction of Ukraine's political leadership, the resettlement of Ukraine's depopulated areas with other ethnic groups, the prosecution of those who dared to speak of the famine publicly, and the consistent blatant denial of famine by the Soviet regime.

    1933
By June, at the height of the famine, people in Ukraine are dying at the rate of 30,000 a day, nearly a third of them are children under 10. Between 1932-34, approximately 4 million deaths are attributed to starvation within the borders of Soviet Ukraine. This does not include deportations, executions, or deaths from ordinary causes. Stalin denies to the world that there is any famine in Ukraine, and continues to export millions of tons of grain, more than enough to have saved every starving man, woman and child.

When you tell your men to lock arms and clear a minefield with there feet while your comrades are bearing down an MG on your back, you'll have more casualties, because your less of a people than the other side.
