My German friends, ALL of whom have extensive knowlege of what has gone on in the German Bundeswehr right up to today tell me EXACTLY the same things as those you have posted above! The same observations, the same concerns, the same frustrations, and with the same details. It is very obvious to me that you do know exactly what you are talking about! :salute:

My friends there disagree with me that there could ever be a military alliance between Germany and Russia anytime in the foreseeable future, but they also disagreed with me completely in the early 1980's when I unerringly predicted that "East" and "West" Germany would reunite! Even though I'm an American, it was obvious to me that the Bundesrepublik and the GDR would reunite before the turn of the century, but not even my dear German friends believed it -- UNTIL IT HAPPENED. No, "military" alliances would be in the far-distant future, but economic allliances are coming for both Russia and Germany -- very soon!

It will be very, very interesting to see what your next Kanzlerin, Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer ("AKK") will do regarding the German Bundeswehr, and, foreign policy -- especially vis-à-vis the Russian Federation. I am hoping for truly great things from her, FOR GERMANY, for I love Germany almost as much as I do my poor, beleagured United States....

    Correct ...

About the current ambassador of the US at us I will only say that he is the first US ambassador since 1949 where ever anyone demands to kick him out of Germany due to his impudence ... this tells all!
And about North Stream 2 ... well ... he allegation that we would be dependent on Russia and thus make it blackmailable, because then we get about 1/3 of the gas from Russia ... in connection with the testimony of Trump, that we should rather buy (more expensive) US gas , is somehow funny.
Let's take his outrageous demand that we should instantly put 2% of GDP into defense, even if we do not have to do until 2024 by contract and agremeement, would make us blackmailable against Trump and his impudence. "Krauts, immediately 2% or no more gas from the US" is not unlikely for me as a measure of Trump ... sorry, no thanks!

Wait ... the last German aggression ended on 8th May 1945, right? How many German military aggressions were done by Germany since then again?

I was talking about US aggressions since then - end of WW-2 - ....
And that you stayed in Europe and Germany had not to do with the WW-2 ... but with the cold war and it was you, the US who demanded from West Germany to build up new Armed Forces due to the cold war ... which became the second largest NATO Force after the US!

Let's compare what the aggression of Russia and the United States.
In the Cold War, I do not want to expose any side here anymore, because it was a conflict over domination with a bunch of direct and indirect interests from both sides ... evil and good!

But since 1991, the end of the USSR?

Russia: Chechnya war 1 and 2 ... whereby 1 was a suppression of a revolt and 2 war against terror and is, Georgia conflict, occupation of the Crimea, support for 50 years allied Assad regime in Syria. Forgot something? I do not think so!

UNITED STATES? Kosovo war, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, Yemen and Syria ...

Legitimized UN missions like the fight against the pirates off Somalia and if there were any special forces doing anything or somewhere a smart bomb or a drone hit something, I'll leave it on both sides!

I won't bother trying to explain why government debt isn't quite the horror you seem to believe it is, but Russia does have a low debt-to-GDP ratio.
He is what he is. Putin has difficulty attracting foreign investment because Russia is a kleptocracy. I think he's missed the boat in not utilizing his educated workforce.
    Putin has problems...

I'm not your secretary, Zoomy. On my worst day, I've got far better things to do than run around doing research for the likes of YOU. Go look it up, or, go to hell... your choice, and I really don't care which it is.

You and I have skirmished over this long enough. In my opinion, you aren't worth even one more word.... Just go away, and take your buddy 'Dimmy' with you.... :spin:

You deflected so much that the conversation about Ukrainian elections ended up in North Korea and Venezuela.
    Why am I not surprised?
Your blabbering and deflections make it really not interesting having a discussion with you. I say - russia violates agreements that it had with Ukraine. You deflect - look at bad America, they did something in Venezuela. As if the people or government or Ukraine give a damn.

    One question, and, one observation:

    1. If we're "out of the old 'spheres of influence' politics that limited other nations (sic) sovereignty", then what was Obama's rationale for using American military force to overthrow the legitimate government of Libya, with which we were at peace? Libya was no threat whatever to the U. S., but Obama callously broke the War Powers Act because he wanted to please the French! Obama should have been impeached and removed from office for this, and as a result of his action Libya has been in such a state of constant chaos ever since that we haven't even been able to keep our Embassy open there for almost five years!

    2. Russians "could have fielded their own (missiles) in Kaliningrad". "Could have"...? :omg: . Evidently your knowledge of what has gone on in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad for MANY YEARS is even more laughably threadbare than I had thought it was, based on your other commentary.

Aside to Jeannette -- Wrestling a pig in the mud accomplishes nothing that will bring satisfaction for you, and makes only the pig happy.... You will gain nothing here by arguing with either 'Dimmy' or 'Zoomy'....

I never supported our involvement in Libya and Syria.
Since you have so much intimate knowledge about that region - why don’t you post it?

Boris, that troll is on my ignore list - whatever it writes, I don’t see it. Whatever it writes is way too far from realms of reality and I don’t like discussing something with someone who claims they’ve heard something or seen something on tv without fielding any real respectable support. RT and Sputnik are not respectable media.

Seems like Dimon and me have different concepts of what respectable is. Oh well, I guess it's a new addition to 'Washington's New Orwellian Dictionary'.

Respectable - Anything that lacks integrity and serves ones interests.

I didn't ask you whether you supported Obama's illegal overthrow of the Libyan government or not, I asked you to explain your vacuous, unsupported statement that the U. S. is "out of the old 'spheres of influence' politics that limited other nations (sic) sovereignty". You didn't... and you didn't even try....

Do you have any idea what an Iskander-M ballistic missile is, Dimmy? Evidently not. Although it's not quite the same as an 'inside-the-SCIF-briefing', you may enjoy this 'sketch' -- https://nationalinterest.org/blog/t...are-russias-kaliningrad-armed-the-teeth-25958 . BTW, it is 277 kilometers from Kaliningrad to Warsaw, and 527 kilometers to Berlin. Ballisitic missiles reach speeds of ~3,200 k.p.h. -- you do the math.... Aside: Ever even been inside a SCIF, Dimmy? I have....

Ignoring a person is probably the most cowardly thing one can do in a forum like this one is, where each of us enjoys anonymity. What are you afraid of? My advice to you is to ignore no one -- be open to all information and then, if nothing else, you can't be accused of being wilfully IGNORANT. As an example, I loathe and despise CNN, MSNBC, and all the hyperliberal "news" media propaganda machines, but I READ them, so that I can be informed!

On a personal note, even though Jeannette and I have disagreed on some things over the years, I have found her knowledge of Eastern Europe, including Russia, to be sound and verifiable. By contrast, I have not as yet been able to come to the same conclusion about you. If you take it upon yourself to argue with her about Ukraine, Crimea, or Russia, you'd better "pack a lunch" first....

So you have **** all then....no surprise, really pollydoodles, you make the claim your provide the details....it's as simple as that.

You seem to have a lot of bad days as of late Boris....why?....because thedimon sniffed you out as a basement troll?

Well Polly, you aren't the only one to tell me I'm not worth "another word".....but they keep coming back for more....I think most trolls crave it here.

Wanna see more RF tri colored flags used by Vlasovs?

I can't take thedimon with me.....we don't share adjoining cubicles like you and your bum chum archstanton do.

Post your flags, rave your rant, say and do whatever you like. I've never supported censorship, not even for creatures like you. But, as far as I'm concerned, you're nothing more than 'fart-bubbles in a bathtub'....

When you mash all the bullshit out of it, Ukraine will eventually split into two separate countries (at first). Kiev and Western Ukraine will be one country, and Eastern Ukraine (or whatever they decide to call it) will be another.

Western Ukraine will continue to be run by local oligarchs and suck on Madame Lagarde's IMF "teats", as it has since the fall of the Soviet Union. Eastern Ukraine will eventually -- and fairly quickly -- be absorbed into Russia, much as Crimea has been already. This Eastern Ukraine province (or "Oblast", or whatever) will be fully-funded by Moscow, which will "pass the collection plate" to the Russian oligarchs with the instruction that the newest Russian state must (MUST) appear to be better off than it was under the Ukrainian oligarchs nested in Kiev. This will be expensive, but it will be a Putin PRIORITY! The multi-billionaire Russian elite can afford it....

The comedian "president" in Kiev (who is the possession of Ukrainian billionaire, Igor Kolomoysky) won't have much actual work to do... because Western Ukraine is already a joke. What's any schlock-comedian got left to do in a f*cked-up place like that...? :roflol:

DPR issuing it's own ""passports"?? :roflol:, ?? The only place these "passports" could be recognized is in some whorehouse somewhere,LOL.

I think the next flag-posting is yours, Zoomy. I posted the one flag that I thought would be of interest, mainly because it is so hard to find anywhere. It sure pissed you and Dimmy off! Well, turn-about is fair play! Now you should go and find some flag that you think will piss me off... right? You must have SUCH a busy day, full of so MANY important things to do....

Eastern Ukraine is where all the mines, industries and I believe the rich black soil is. This is why Brzezinski felt that without Ukraine Russia would be powerless. It shouldn't be too much of a problem bringing the area up to par with Russia since the Donetsk and Lugansk have already integrated with Russia - but not because of Moscow, but because of Kiev's own policies in not following the Minsk II agreement.

It comes down to demographics. Russia wanted those areas to remain within Ukraine so the Russians would remain a majority, while the nationalists from western Ukraine wanted to ethnically cleanse them by attacking and denying them pensions, trade, etc.

As for the latest, ex NYC mayor Guiliani, who is also Trump's lawyer has left for Ukraine to investigate their involvement in our elections - as well as to investigate the firm Burisma Holdings that Biden's son work's for. I recall the investigative reporter Robert Parry saying Burisma Holdings was the company passing around the big bucks in Washington so they could keep the blame on Russia for the airliner shootdown. He also said the Cypriot company could be traced back to the mega criminal Ihor Kolomoisky - who as we know is the one supporting the new president of Ukraine.

Anyway, Ukraine is going to split up. Poroshenko with Biden's help made a big mistake by involving himself in the affairs of the Church. He thought that by putting pressure on the American supported Patriarch of Constantinople to establish a Ukrainian national Church, the people would vote for him. Instead it caused a schism and neither the worshippers in Ukraine or the other Orthodox Patriarchs in the world have accepted the make shift Church..

To avoid a religious war within Ukraine, might be why Russia established the policy that it will start intervening in nations for humanitarian reasons. Anyway the national Church has failed miserably.

You need to read up on spheres of influences and how it used to work. It was literally curbing a third nations ability to trade and interact with other nations.
Syria and Libya had nothing to do with some country’s sphere of influence.
So why do you claim that the US provoked Russia by placing missiles in Europe when Russia has similar missiles close to the border? Your claim of provocation is invalid.
See, you just agreed with my point to Mendelus that no one was provoking Russia and talking of provocation is nothing but a deflection.
I’m not going to sit and listen to someone with a Down syndrome hoping to get better informed on something. Surrounding self with idiots and listening to them just for the sake of giving them a chance will rarely yield a good result.

That’s why people who I believe are russian trolls end up on my ignore list - there is nothing to learn from anyone who has a strong agenda and who shows signs of actually being paid for spreading propaganda.

You can’t deny the existence of troll factories in Russia. There are people who literally get paid to go online and post propaganda on forums and boards.

Her understanding of Eastern Europe is very limited and biased. She/it twists facts and doesn’t even bother to post real backup.
