Uh yeah.....they were displaced and were relocated....were rather rude and brash.

I never said there was no Russian in Lviv (correct spelling), there is a lot of Ukranian spoken....much to your dismay.

Ukrainian spelling is Lviv, Polish one is Lwow, Russian - Lvov.
So... it's Lvov, sorry for you...

It has to do with economics. If the Crimeans had been well off with Ukraine and were able to retain their language and heritage, they wouldn't have wanted to join Russia. Instead, Kiev did the opposite. They tried to force the Russians to leave Crimea by keeping the area underdeveloped - and it backfired with the coup.

The Baltic states like Estonia and Latvia are doing the same thing. The Russians are treated like second class citizens so they will leave - that is if they are even allowed to be citizens. This makes those countries paranoia about Russia invading to protect them so they're arming themselves to the hilt.

Economics is what Britain used to split up nations and keep them weak. They knew the wealthier side will never want to share their wealth and lower their standard of living with the poorer side. It's probably because of the costs that Russia would incur that made Putin force the Minsk agreement upon the Donbas Republics and kept them from uniting with Russia - as they wanted to do and as they still want to do.

Now of course the situation is different. Every time Kiev denied some service or trade to the Donbas Republics as specified in the Minsk agreement, Russia was forced to take it over, so today the Republics are very integrated with Russia commercially if not militarily. It's a situation that's not going to change. There is no way they will return to Ukraine after what was done to them.

Yeah, nice try....it's Lviv, just like Kyiv.....and airports around the world are starting to switch. I noticed in NYC, Toronto, Chicago, SF....it's Lviv to you since you're a vatniks.....but no surprise.....pretty much anything Ukrainian bothers the moskali....like fleas to a dog.

Do they really want to be separate from Russia, or are they forced to accept that since so many Russians are in areas of the Donbass that is still occupied by Kiev? I know they're mad at Russia for not intervening and helping them.

All signs point towards staying separate from Russia. They declared independence, named their respective republics, issued their own passports, and created their own flags as well as using their new republic's names on official documents, etc.

In support for your observation that the Galicia region was anti-Russia and pro-Germany, I will share this VERY hard-to-find image of a WWII-era Galician flag, with the traditional colors, and the Swastika.

    So what?
Romania was all the way pro-German. Same with Italy.

Didn't Vlad the Bad just offer Russian citizenship to the people of eastern Ukraine???That didn't make the Ukrainian government too happy.

You are so stupid, so you even don't realize that you're talking about yourself. Ukrainian bothers me? How? I don't care how you or anyone else writes Lvov. Did I tell you or anyone else - oh, no! It's wrong, don't write this, write that! Did I do that?.. And actually I don't give a sh*t what is in Toronto, Chicago etc. But why are you trying to tell me how I have to write "Lvov"? Who are you f*ing are?
You know, it's forbidden to offence people here. So, it's not about you, but I have to say - I don't like illiterate retards.

Thanks for blowing your cover and showing everyone that you are a russian troll!
I will never believe that an American is going to have SS Galichina flag saved on their computer and pretend to care when Americans had Jim Crow laws and major pro-Nazi movement at the time.

LOL....issued their own passports??? Well if it's a DPR one it's ****ing useless.....with which you can wipe your backside with.

In case you haven't noticed the moskali started issuing Russian passports to residents of the DPR.....much like in Crimea years back before the annexation. Pull your head outta your ass...LOL.

You know what the mathematical formula that represents Russia today is?
Here, especially for you, my little stinky sweetheart:
    Russia = USSR x 0.
    Got it?

Many Ukrainians stopped caring about that region. The new president might actually recognize that and exploit it in Ukraine’s favor by turning it into a real burden to russia.

Did you notice that this Member disappeared at the time it’s night in Russia.
I guess this Member (Mr Johnson) is in Russia and is drinking Stolichnaya as we speak.
Speaking of Mr Johnson - id love AOC to play with mine.
    ;)

I’m curious of how many Russians who pretend to be American will understand what I just wrote.

Yeah, perhaps something like the former Berlin Wall where there were dozens of escapes on a weekly basis.

But if they're happy with pics and placards of koba, Felix, Lavrenti, V I Lenin, Malenkov, Zhukov, and the rest of the trashy band, sucks to be them. Maybe they'll rename Donetsk back to Stalino? Misery likes company!
