The Cares Act has no resemblance whatsoever to the 2019 bill, which was the Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act.

The latter Act was used as a shell bill to speed up getting coronavirus relief passed - its contents were completely erased, replaced with CARES Act provisions, and it was renamed accordingly.

 

And the 217,000 dead people were all actors

My conspiratorial and suspicious mind, largely the result of 50 years worth of observing the patterns of behavior of elected officials in the US and around the world, has no trouble at all understanding that elected officials lie all the time. Mendacity and scheming are hallmarks of elected officials in the US Congress, sorry to report to the naive in this world.

 

When you don't make the effort to check whether your suspicions are founded or not, your assertions are no more than a product of your imagination, however strongly you believe them to be true. You could, for instance, have very easily have checked into whether your assertion regarding the CARES Act was valid or not, but chose not to, which doesn't speak well to how interested you are in getting to the truth of this or any other matter.

 

My suspicions are very well founded. Are you old enough to remember the significance of the Pentagon Papers? To remember Curveball and Colin Powell at the UN?

Does your knowledge base contain memories of 911? Did you know that USA Berman in Manhattan buried a perfectly legal petition submitted regarding those events?

Over many decades government bureaucrats have hidden and suppressed the truth, and outright lied.

You may have led too protected a life to understand that, but I have not. Government officials lie as a matter of routine, whether you understand that or not.

The fact that you 'missed' it just goes to show what it's really all about - you like to think you know things that other people don't, because it makes you feel special. If you were a nuclear scientist, maybe. Conspiracy theorist? Not so much. Special in a another way, perhaps...

Normally I’m a fan of this ZDogg dude, but here he commits logical fallacies while criticizing their use. Also if he really doesn’t know the difference between a false positive and a false negative PCR test I’m not sure you can rely 100% on his analysis. Of course the order of the day is swallowing whatever is dished up as long as the person doing the dishing states conclusions that fit your need for confirmation bias.

You are intelligent enough to understand well founded, fact based criticism of one thing is not defense of something else. You all are not doing anyone any favors by attempting to refute a weak argument by using your own fallacious methods. If Zdogg had stuck to facts and not used formal fallacies of his own, his argument would be much stronger.

I’m not here to do myself “favors”. I’m here at PF on the subject of C19 to defend truth. First, as is my standard mode of operation, against authoritarians. Then, if resources allow against non authoritarian corruption of science. Unfortunately there is no time for the latter as the authoritarian side (even thought they make exclusive claim to science and reason) keeps me busy playing whack-a-mole.

When I refer to the authoritarian side I’m of course not including every individual I interact with here in that demographic.

 

Your OPINION of what ZDogg posted was/still is UNSUBSTANTIATED which is YOUR problem, not mine.

Go ahead and PROVE those claims you made/are still making against him.

Or don't and deal with the negative impact on your credibility.

That is disingenuous given that YOU were given ample opportunities to SUBSTANTIATE your allegations about "logical fallacies". However once you realized that could NOT defend your position you chose to engage in puerile ad homs instead.
