I don’t believe that has been proven for mRNA vaccines yet. How many people you here complain like the folks in the OP over a flu shot symptoms?

Oh I've heard a couple in my time although granted I've heard more about COVID vaccines. I part I suspect that the this simply reflects the short time frame over which the national population is getting vaccinated compared to the manner in which 'normal' vaccination programs operate i.e. spread out over the years/generations as people mainly kids reach the point where they get they're scheduled shots. That said it does seem like there are higher rates of adverse reactions with the COVID vaccines albeit the IMO the benefits outweigh the 'feeling crappy' factor.

What is going to be interesting in the medium term is how anti-vaxers will react to some of the dozen or so trials currently underway with vaccine based anti-cancer treatments (and the many more that are in the planning phase over the next 5 years or so). Many won't pan out of course but as time goes on some will. We already have vaccine treatments for prostrate and cancer and melanoma for example. They'll only get more effective and more common as time goes on.

Oh to be a fly on the wall when a committed anti-vaxer gets told they have cancer and the recommended treatment includes using a vaccine! (And no I'm not wishing cancer on anyone. I'm just pointing out that such conversations will, if they haven't already, in the near future become increasingly common.)

According to anti-vaxers, ALL vaccines are sickening and killing children and adults. Polio, lockjaw, heart murnurs, chicken pox, smallpox, and so much other illnesses come from vaccines! Not to mention vaccines being the primary cause of autism!

Before the 1850s, children all grew up healthy and unmarked, and a family of 10 all grew up with all 10 strong and with few issues like autism or allergies.

All the illnesses we deal with now are from the Conspiracy of Evil Health care providers and doctors who want create and cause illnesses to make more money, driving out the wholesome vitamin and Sulphur supplements that once upon a time ensured the health of America!

Good thing medicine isn't democratically determined. Nearly all of such stories are people who have no clue what happened, not equipped to figure it out, but decide to blame the vaccine. When billons get vaccinated, certainly thousands will happen to have something go wrong around the same time.

In the 1850s a family with 8 kids likely wouldn't have seen but 5 or 6 live to adulthood.

How do we know they're not spam bots?

    What is a "horror story"?

I had STUPID-19 in February 2020, so when I got the first Moderna dose in February 2021, I was horizontal for a few days. The second dose didn't do anything.

Does that qualify as a "horror story"?

    Obviously, you're not a genealogist.

I can show you dozens and dozens of census records showing families with 8-14 kids and they all made it to adulthood.

Statistia is not a primary source and the data is just plain wrong. Your own government says it was 30%, but that's misleading, because there was a huge difference between infant mortality rates in urban and rural areas.

Not only was there a huge difference in infant mortality rates, rural people lived 8-12 years longer than urban people. That is a statistically significant difference.

I'm sure you can figure out why that was so.

We already know several government agencies, a few corporations and private companies use spam bots to post things on social media.

    That's not news.

You didn't answer the question of what is a "horror story." One man's horror story is another man's TV fun time.

I will happily point out the Göbbels-style propaganda and disinformation in any Lame Stream Media account reported on forums like these if I am knowledgeable and competent in the subject matter.

Where I have no knowledge of the subject matter, I leave it to others to point out the false/contradictory statements, inflammatory rhetoric, lies and deceptions.

I'll give you an example. Bloomberg News. This is an article that would have Herr Josef Göbbels creaming his pants.

A month after Hicks was killed, University of Cincinnati police officers killed another Black man. A campus patrolman shot Samuel DuBose in the face during a traffic stop for a missing front license plate.

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/feat...-and-fall-of-community-policing-in-cincinnati

That is not what happened as clearly evidenced by the police officer's body cam and the body cam of his partner.

The University of Cincinnati had a jurisdictional agreement with the City of Cincinnati that allowed Ohio Certified Peace Officers hired by the university to patrol a defined geographic area around campus which included student housing, retail, grocery and hospitality students patronize and off-campus buildings.

In Ohio, a front license plate is mandatory, not optional.

Ohio statute also require any person operating a motor vehicle in Ohio to fully submit to any lawful detention by a police officer and to comply and cooperate fully, up to the point where the 5th Amendment applies.

Stopping a vehicle with no front license plate, or any other defect like headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, etc, is good policing since it often leads to an OVI and/or drugs, burglary tools, stolen goods, and occasionally kidnap victims and dead people in the trunk.

DuBose was drunk, had a bottle of gin on the driver's side floor within reach, and autopsy toxicology showed him under the influence of crack cocaine.

DuBose was evasive during questioning. He lied and claimed the car was his until the police officer points out the car is actually registered in a woman's name, and refused to show his driver's license or admit that he was driving under suspension (that is not a 5th Amendment thing).

When the officer tells him to undo his seat-belt, DuBose drives off. The officer thought he would get run over, so he drew his weapon and fired at DuBuse to get him to stop.

You'll notice that US media edits out everything from the body cam that is damaging to DuBose in an effort to inflame and incense viewers.

Anyway, if it was up to me, journalists would be licensed like attorneys.

They would have to be admitted to the "journal" like lawyers are admitted to the bar and have to comply with strict ethical standards which could result in supervision, suspension or forfeiture if they don't.

So, yeah, the lying sack of runny excrement Fola Akinibi who authored that propaganda piece would be stripped of her journalist's license.

Note that she could still publish her crap on a blog on her own website, but she wouldn't be able to work at any bona fide "news" organization.
