So when Kate Perry, a real woman, dressed up like a Japanese woman it was offensive and racist. How is it that men dressed up as women arent outraging the perpetually outraged?

This Air Force thing belongs in a San Fran pride parade.

Yet another post about racism where the thread is not about race.
Will you please post on topic and stop dereailing all threads?

Then stop talking about Trump. Trump doesn’t have anything to do about a drag show in the US Air Force. Stop derailing our threads with TDS.

If it’s not a part of military code, and detracts from standards it does not keep the machine working. I can’t explain this any more basically , you will not understand.

Did you also take issue with comedy shows that occur? Or any other form of entertainment?

    It can be argued.
Since the RW now has congress voters against sex trafficking bill that is 22 yrs old.

The side that screams the loudest on the issue, do so to distract from the fact they, themselves, are doing it.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...as-among-20-republicans-to-vote-again.602194/

Sex trafficking. The core of trump congress critters.
20 of them voted against the bill.

So its easily argued that RWers are behind it, much more so than the other side(s).
The RWers also believe a conspiracy theory about a stolen election. They appear to not be trusted at all.

“The goal is to provide education and awareness, increase collaboration through outreach, and recognize the diverse composition of JBLE,” a spokesperson said in a statement. “The theme of the event is ‘Celebrating Differences’ and will feature a number of different performers, guest speakers, and information booths, including Tuskegee Airman, Asian Indians of Hampton, a hula routine, a drag performance, and many others.”

How are Indians of the Hampton, or a hula routine, part of any military code?
You know, this gathering is not about military code or changing any part of military code.

    It's an education awareness program.

    I said nothing of trump.
Care to talk about the RW issue with the Air Force?
It's likely better for you to put people on ignore rather than deal with them.

were you in the military? Cuz it looks like the answer is no. The goal of the military has nothing to do with social bs like celebrating differences.
Their job is different, explaining it will not help. You simply don’t understand.

No explanation is working, you couldn’t understand if you tried. Of course you haven’t tried because you have no interest in learning, just social silliness.

I was, for 13 yrs as part of the Army National Guard.
A goal of the military is promoting Espri De Corps

The military must combine people from all over the country, with all kinds of different back grounds into a cohesive unit.
One way to accomplish this is to help soldiers understand the world outside their very own limited world they left behind.

And to form a sense of pride.

But I do note your failure at projecting. Something you do often?

None of what you just said has anything to do with making a social wokeness festival a part of the military. Nothing.
What you’ve noted is that you can’t understand the military isn’t in the dancing in dresses festival business, and that you’re also unencumbered by knowledge of psychology.

You know nothing about Espri de Corps.

The festival had nothing to do with dancing in festival dresses, but for 1 act.

That doesn't change retaining policy that coincides with the perceptive goals of our military.

    You didn’t answer the question

Is it just the performer that you take issue with?
Or is the reason it is being done and not the performer.

Those are your perceptions, not the US military. They have been extremely successful on their campaigns, a modern professional force, and humanitarian as well as diplomatic. Often they make excellent ambassadors, and most courteous too.

With all their accolades, you take a show, that is basically a comedy and now turn it against them as to negate all their previous accomplishments. They don't deserve your comments, they have earned respect.

I’ve seen several, most are not. They wear heavy makeup, dance and sing pop songs, dresses are usually very flamboyant. Sure some are but they are far from the majority.

How many have you been to?

Looks like the same level of understanding about what "grooming" actually means.

I agree with you. Drags shows aren't sexual any more than any other form of entertainment meant to be fun and campy.

I've been trying for years to figure out how some people turn anything and everything into sex and then become self-righteous about it. Are we the only ones with other things on our mind? ;-)
