Our Declaration of Independence declared that human rights are universal and know no boundaries or border. That all human beings a natural right to be free and live as they so choose. The UN declared a Universal Declaration of Human Rights and many nations ratified the agreement, but many did not. Do you believe the nations of the world should recognize and commit to protecting and enforcing certain natural rights for all human beings inside their territory?
The idea of universal rights would create a universal obligation for whoever would be foolish enough to sign on at the UN. It would be foolish to allow this to happen...
Ayuh,.... Absolutely, the Right of Self-Preservation,... the 1st, at the top of the list,..... With any means necessary,..... the Right of any livin' bein', not just humans,..... A handgun is my choice of tool to use,...
The recognition of what I call Natural Rights, is a personal decision, I say this not only because I know this to be true, I also say this because the spread of democracy, and human rights is used as an excuse to further imperial designs and desires which is antithetical to Human Rights.
Not exactly. The declaration was that rights were the gift of god to all men. I know, the language is the problem, right? SO, you just thought you might "translate" a little.. right??
