University Study Finds US Less Racist Under President Trump than Race-Baiting Obama

Should this fact come under the designation of oops? How can the U.S. possibly be less racist under Trump after the political Left just spent a week trying to convince the nation that the president is an EVIL racist than it was under Obama . . . the president who openly race agitated for eight years while the political Left cheered?

Obama was waaaaaaaaaay more racist than Trump. Oh and for the people who simply cannot find the embedded link; here you go: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...er-president-trump-than-whitey-bashing-obama/

The survey concluded that via most measures, white Americans’ expressed anti-Black and anti-Hispanic prejudice declined after the 2016 campaign and election, and we can rule out even small increases in the expression of prejudice.

Trump dated a black woman. Has hired and worked with countless black people. Has never said anything that is actually racist. Xenophobic perhaps. But racist? Nice try.

Obama was married by a racist and listened to that scumbag’s sermons for years. He took advice for years from a racist in the WH. Defended BLM, who are racists. And his wife said she was proud of her country for the first time because they elected a black man. And of course he supports AA, the most racist policy there is.

Translation: Did not open the link to the research; and have got no intention of doing so until after Rachel Maddow or Chris Matthews of MSNBC have issued the requisite leftist talking points.

I don't remember Obama doing a lot about race. I kinda expected him to talk a lot about reparations and race all the time, but he really didn't make that the focus of his presidency or campaigns.

Hahahaha! "Hands up don't shoot", " "If I had a son he would be Trayvon" and the necessity for the world's first ever Beer Summit because Obama jumped to a racist conclusion and then so forth and so on. Obama race agitated and our leftists cheered.

I remember the many blacks shot by white cops under obama. Not so much under Trump. Looks like Trump has caused that racism to go away.

Obama did comment on racial issues the nation was obsessed with. But his comments were always very calm and civil and he didn't spend a lot of time on these incidents.

And the Gateway Pundit links to this:

In his campaign and first few years in office, Donald Trump consistently defied contemporary norms by using explicit, negative rhetoric targeting ethnic/racial minorities. Did this rhetoric lead white Americans to express more prejudiced views of African Americans or Hispanics, whether through the normalization of prejudice or other mechanisms? We assess that question using a 13-wave panel conducted with a population-based sample of Americans between 2008 and 2018. We find that via most measures, white Americans' expressed anti-Black and anti-Hispanic prejudice declined after the 2016 campaign and election, and we can rule out even small increases in the expression of prejudice. These results suggest the limits of racially charged rhetoric's capacity to heighten prejudice among white Americans overall. They also indicate that prejudice can behave like an issue attitude: rather than being a fixed predisposition, prejudice can respond thermostatically to changing presidential rhetoric and policy positions.

Obama was good with style and tone but terrible at fixing much of anything. Most of the benefits we saw during the Obama administration were almost "accidents" or easy things to do like throwing trillions of dollars at it. Obama put more African Americans on food stamps than any other recent President, possibly of any other President in our history. Obama could screw up royally and stand in front of a microphone and calmly explain it away or calmly lie right your face and get people's heads bobbing in agreement.

People loved him as being "Presidential" because he was an artist in front of the microphone. But as far as doing anything worthwhile, he was a disaster and the most corrupt President we have ever had. A narcissistic, petty Dictator who weaponized the Intel agencies to go after a lot of people including American journalists he didn't like or was paranoid about.

But Obama was a smooth talking and easy to listen to President, especially if you liked him or just took what he said as fact without really understanding what he was telling you.

Fun fact: Obama garnered over 99% of the black vote. This was OK and not considered racist.

If Romney or McCain had garnered over 99% of the white vote, people would be calling it racist.

    Double standards.

Obama never said hands up don’t shoot and his admin actually exposed that as not being what happened.
He said the cop acted stupidly for arresting a guy for breaking into his own home. He didn’t call him a racist.

I love statements like this, "Moreover, 2017 saw an increase in hate crimes, a rise some linked to Trump’s rhetoric. Still, such criminal acts are likely to reflect changing behavior among a very small subset of highly prejudiced Americans, leaving its impacts on the broader population of white Americans unknown (but see Schaffner, 2019)."

Notice that "some linked to Trump's rhetoric." They didn't say that many were found to be faked and actually perpetrated by Democrats trying to make Trump look bad and how many were actually hate crimes committed by people of color. How many hate crimes were committed due to the MSM's portrayal of Trump?

LOL Jefferson was not a racist by that logic as he had decades long relationship with one of his black slaves with children by her and of course Thurmond a very very famous racist had a secret black daughter while fighting rights for blacks.

Well that doesn't account for the increase in hate crimes.

#MSM went out of their way to look for crimes and it turned out most of them were hoaxes or committed by people of color. Then #MSM did a very poor job of apologizing and issuing retractions. The goal was to do as much damage as possible and mislead as many people as possible about these crimes. In many cases, they succeeded.

Bernie and Clinton supporters were looking for ways to express their outrage and racism/sexism and fake news were the perfect avenue. It was about losing an election and demonizing the victor.
