In Ethiopia, there is discontent about the state of the nation. It seems that enough people want a new government to protest in numbers and demonstrate that they do. This means that there is a call for a snap election - I think this is what they are hoping for, the protesters.

So, as the rulers do not want to cede power, and, spend all their time dealing with unrest, there is nothing being done, yes? While taxes are collected and spent, there is a call for more monies to rebuild what is lost each time there is a demonstration, of course.

If the opposition was to observe that the demonstrations for them ruin their own future, that they will inherit a country full of problems if unrest continues, then there should be a call for peaceful demonstrations, or, no demonstrations at all. The problem is that the police are on high alert - they are people too with lives to lead, and, nobody wielding a machete is going to ruin their day.

So, what to do? The provinces where they are strong, the opposition, need to observe there is no need to demonstrate there, as, there is already a great awareness in that city or state, yes? This would be like a school having a parade on school grounds to raise awareness of their own favourite sports, of course. The fact that the current leaders own the state departments they trash means nothing, it is like in that example trashing classrooms of your own school, so, we could instead of calling this protesting, call it vandalism - it has no point.

If the state of the leaders was to be observed, they will cling to power because it is comely. This would be where they need to wait until an election or suffer due to instigating violence. There is a lot of bad sentiment... how did that government come to power? There is no chance of a coup, as, the army and police are all trying to fight these people back and will not side with them.

Striking leads to loss of turnover for the work - what is good for the work is good for the employees, as, the work pays the employees. Taking time off to annihilate your own tit to suck is stupid, if you ask me.

There needs to be a state of peace and calm before the media can put pressure onto the leaders to sit down and listen, this unrest will only 'lead to more bottlenecking.'
