What names of people? See how your analogy has dead people? I underlined it. Who?

And you'll have to link me to your intel story. All I read was they hadn't confirmed rumors of bounties. If they told Trump anything, it was that they hadn't confirmed rumors of bounties. What is Trump supposed to do, order a Seal team to sneak up on non-confirmation?
The story came out months after that report of unconfirmed rumors. That's how we know it's just another hit job - no facts.

You mean the Iranian backed militias didn't exist there?

Feel free to believe whatever you want, but even the Russians agree they were there, they just didn't bother with them.

Please show me any video examples of Joe Biden's "speech impediment" manifesting itself at any time in his early political career. Anything from the first 30 years of Joe's long and very-public political career will do just fine.

I'll be over here not holding my breath.

I'm giving another point of view as we head into war. If you don't believe me, then read these comments from the US's European Command, Air Force General Tod D. Wolters,

“everything we do is about generating peace.” “we compete to win … and if deterrence fails, we're prepared to respond to aggression, primarily through NATO.”

“Beyond exercises we conduct operations and other activities to compete, deter and prepare to respond to aggression,”

“We're in an era of global power competition. Winning in this era is ensuring that global power competition does not become a global power war,”

“Despite widespread international condemnation and continued economic sanctions, Russia engages in destabilizing and malign activities across the globe, with many of those activities happening close to home,”

“Russia remains an enduring existential threat to the United States and our European allies,”

"“Russia… and China – having declared itself a near-Arctic power – continued to militarize the region and seek to establish economic footholds to gain influence over regional governance,”

"need to maintain a credible Arctic deterrence and ensure vital sea lines of communication remain open by securing the Greenland, Iceland and United Kingdom gap.”

The major problem is the Arctic, since the thawing of the ice made it navigable and will shorten the routes between Europe and Asia considerably. Russia expects about 80 million tons of goods to flow through its Arctic waters by 2024.

I recall reading once that Russia will only allow Russian flagged ships, and that's what I think is freaking out Washington's Russiaphobes. Then again if we are heading into an ice age, they would have nothing to worry about.

This battle is not just words though. Other than troop and arms build up in Eastern Europe, Nato has staged drills and engaged in a series of stand-offs with Russian sailors in the Black Sea. I guess the Black Sea is what Wolters meant when he said close to home. (I'm being sarcastic).

Russia of course is preparing its defenses in the Arctic. Last year, they had reopened a mothballed Soviet-era research facility designed to test the performance of firearms under “extreme temperatures” and snipers had cold-weather drills in temps as low as -35 degrees Fahrenheit.

I believe the Russians said the things you relayed, I just don't take it for fact, since they are known propagandists.

We are not heading into anything. We have been in it for 18 years.

I'm guessing that the oil and gas rich area East of the Euphrates that the US stole from Syria and wants to give to the Kurds is predominantly Shia - and they don't want to be kicked out of their homes by Kurds who are not indigenous to the area. I know the locals formed militias to fight the Kurds, and I assume the Iranians are helping them.

What I posted were direct quotes from Walters. If they were lies it would be illegal - although I only stated the parts which I felt were important. The reason I read RT and Sputnik, is to get the news and information the corporate owned medias leave out. I have never found anything contradictory between the Russian sites, and the internet sites that I consider trustworthy.

Anyway the situation between Russia and the US is getting worse. Here's a perfect example of Nato and how they advance and call it a deterrence, yet it's an existential threat to Russia, and so they build up their arms and military accordingly.

"He (Walters) emphasized that US air forces in Europe play a critical role in showing "collective resolve and readiness to deter our adversaries and sustain peace."

Four US Air Force B-1 bombers and approximately 200 personnel from Dyess Air Force in Texas are currently deployed at Ørland Air Base in Norway to exercise together with Norwegian forces. This is the first time such aircrafts are stationed on Norwegian ground.

    https://www.highnorthnews.com/en/wo...redible-deterrence-eucom-commander-emphasizes
This is Russia's response on Facebook to Wolters speech:

"The activation of foreign military presence in Norway and in the North, including the sending of strategic bombers "B-1 Lancers ", does not generally contribute to stability. We will continue to monitor the situation and implement measures to defend the security of our country and the region."

Kurds are allies of the Edomite-jew state who has repeatedly bombed inside Syria for years with impunity.

So, the blame-shifter in chief didn't get it done, so he blames everyone else around him. Very typical of Trump.

So, some Dems are opposed to this, and GOP is silent.

Democrats renew push for war powers overhaul after Biden's Syria strike

"Offensive military action without congressional approval is not constitutional absent extraordinary circumstances," Kaine said.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2021/02/26/tim-kaine-biden-syria-airstrike-471740
The Biden administration is taking heat from fellow Democrats as lawmakers pressure the White House to provide a legal justification for an airstrike launched Thursday against Iran-backed militia groups in Syria.

The White House is pledging to provide a classified briefing early next week and argued the airstrike was consistent with Biden's constitutional authority to defend the U.S. But the attack has given new ammunition to lawmakers who want to roll back broad presidential war powers authorized two decades ago.

Two Senate war powers critics — Democrats Tim Kaine of Virginia and Chris Murphy of Connecticut — argued Friday that lawmakers need to know why President Joe Biden ordered the attack without first consulting them.

"The American people deserve to hear the Administration’s rationale for these strikes and its legal justification for acting without coming to Congress," said Kaine, who sits on the Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committees.

Nothing will prevent Iran for becoming a nuclear power if that is truly what they want, and it is eventually. They are patient and have pressing needs like getting the crippling sanctions lifted. Their ambition is to be THE power in the region and dropping a bomb on their proxy fighters in Syria is like pissing in the wind, no effect at all except we keep getting wet. they need nukes and will have them.

Why would the Democrats block Trump's attempts to withdraw of troops?

    .

So, why has Syria become a great bone of contention?

    Here's something interesting:

Shia Muslims [like Iranians] believe when their Mahdi appears he will have God's "Ark of the Covenant" [one of the signs he is indeed the Mahdi] which they believe is hidden in Syria.

Ironically, based on my personal Biblical and historic research, God's "Ark of the Covenant" was hidden in Elam which is now part of Iran!

One does not need a theory, when one can just read the link you provided. The Congress asked administration certify that a withdrawal will not harm U.S, and the WH refused, or was unwilling to do that.

PS, You say "Democrats", but your article states "lawmakers on both sides of the aisle". Why did you re-word it?

Why did Congress ask for such certification?

Answer: They "have grown increasingly concerned about the decision-making behind Trump’s withdrawal efforts — described by former administration officials as erratic, impulsive outbursts driven by domestic politics". In other words they realized Trump didn't have a clue about what he was doing, he was just doing things because he thought it would be a popular thing to do.
