USA is tougher and tougher on Muscovy, for how long Putin and his "Nigeria in snow" can hold the USA pressure? whats funny Muscovite propaganda doesn´t attack Trump as they did to Obama and Clinton , are they scared of Trump, or still have a hope to make a criminal deal with USA president ?

If they want it to work.....then they must keep the Democrats from being on that committee. Most of those Demos have been compromised, already.

The Dems only think of themselves first. Not country. So they will play like they are on the same page. Still many are compromised and only would let the Russians know what we are doing.

The Brits are accusing the EU of interfering in their elections. Seriously.

Have the Democrats accused the Republicans of interfering in the elections yet ?

Depends on what you mean by Interfering. Of course they always blame Republicans and can never seem to take their own weight for the **** ups they create.

Not sure if you ever read Orwell but this is a classic example of double speak = The ministry of pleasure was where they tortured people.

The job of this committee will be, under the guise of combating false speech, to combat freedom of speech in order to uphold state propaganda and false narrative. Just like your beloved Muscovite's.

Cozy Bear, classified as advanced persistent threat APT29, is a Russian hacker group believed to be associated with Russian intelligence. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has suggested that it may be associated with either the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) or Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).[2] The group was given other nicknames by other cybersecurity firms, including Office Monkeys, CozyCar,[3] The Dukes (by Volexity), and CozyDuke[4][5] (by F-Secure)......snip~

Fancy Bear (also known as APT28, Pawn Storm, Sofacy Group, Sednit and STRONTIUM) is a cyber espionage group. Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike has said with a medium level of confidence that it is associated with the Russian military intelligence agency GRU.[2] Security firms SecureWorks,[3] ThreatConnect,[4] and Fireeye's Mandiant[5] have also said the group is sponsored by the Russian government......snip~

Much of the fight against Russia's misinformation machine is something that must be dealt with by Google and Facebook, at least a committee would be able to prepare the US for the future and pressure these companies to do more against this sowing of discord by Russia.

Google rolled out their fact checking tool a week or so ago, I think we are moving in the right direction.

Why don't the fools give it up. The neo con war mongers are so frightened that Trump will mend relations with Russia and not throw us into a world war so they could fill their pockets at the expense of Eastern Europe, that they're keeping up the stupid narratives about Russia hacking to get Trump elected. As if Putin would give a damn.

And of course, all that this is, is what you saw in the USSR and today in China. Is this what you people want?

The Princeton Study concluded we are either moving into fascism, Oligarchy, or we are already there. What you are promoting is exactly what the fascism of Oligarchy would do. Americans cannot be trusted to use their education, their brains, to determine who is pushing propaganda, now another entity, must do that for us.

We already have a MSM who blacks out contrary American voices, trustworthy prior gov't officials, retired NSA, CIA whistle blowers, so that only the "official story" is given out. This takes it to the next level. The gov't has used fear mongering to end any right to privacy, and now the Russian fear mongering is seeking to give us nothing less than a regime which exerts complete control over information, by controlling the internet, which is the last free flow of non controlled information. This is Orwellian, and it destroys constitutional rights, rendering it nothing more than a worthless piece of paper. And you have people cheering it on?

We are supposed to be protected from any gov't that would do this. The people here who are promoting this, with Russian fear mongering, are much more of an enemy to what is left of this republic than Russia could ever be. These people are anti American, a real, clear and present danger to America. They should be tried and hung for treason, for trying to destroy the principles this nation was founded on.

What in the hell has gotten into these people?

You know its not just about gaining access to those involved in an election Right?

Russian Government Seen Behind White House Computer Hack.....

Criminal hackers doing the bidding of the Russian government are believed to have hacked into a non-classified White House computer network last year, according to a person with knowledge of the investigation.

An analysis of the malicious code and other evidence gathered show certain characteristics known to be used by criminal hackers working under the sponsorship of the Russian government, said the person who wasn’t authorized to speak publicly about the investigation.

The White House intrusion, which some U.S. officials believe was carried out by hackers who had earlier gained entry into State Department computers, was likely a signal from the government in Moscow in retaliation for sanctions the U.S. has imposed on Russia, the person said.

The White House said in October that it had identified potentially threatening activity on its computer network and tried to close off access. The hackers may have reached the White House data through an earlier intrusion at the State Department, where officials regularly use e-mail to communicate with colleagues, according to U.S. officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

A Russian-based hacking group was discovered to be attacking high-value government targets in the U.S. and other countries around the time that the White House and State Department were infiltrated, said Brian Bartholomew, lead technical analyst for iSight Partners Inc., a Dallas-based cybersecurity company.

“We cannot say for certain that this group is working for the Russian government, but it is a possibility given the way it operates and the kinds of data it is seeking to steal,” Bartholomew said in a phone interview.

The malware and tactics it employed is consistent with state-sponsored espionage and aimed at stealing sensitive data, he said.....snip~
