Those 13 million weren't given to promote global warming. It was given to STUDY global warming. These scientists need funding to support their research, but that research doesn't preplan or predetermine the outcome of the research in advance. Your whole premise is wrong, and grossly unfair to truth-seeking scientists.

 

It was given to study AGW.

 

If they disproved "man made" global warming the funding's over, then it's back to how hot does plastic packaging melt.

 

All government climate change funding comes with the understanding that presupposes CO2 is driving global warming. Smart scientists know to keep their mouths shut if the don't want the spigot to dry up. You also appear to think scientists are somehow beyond being human.

 

Reading comprehension seems to be lacking for some. Where did Mattis claim man is the cause?

 

Are you saying Mattis never said AGW is a problem? Do you know what the A stands for?

Why it changes is a different issue.
