Oil first. Venezuela is a country rich in Natural resources, Gold is another they are rich with. I think maybe diamonds too but there are several others. Initially they were after their oil - global warming may change that. Other countries after different things. I know both Canada and Australia were after different resources but it is some time since I looked at this and memory not that great.

Yes, I know Venezuela has nothing to pay for anything due to the US siege because their poor little darling Guido was not accepted by the people - even the 'opposition' who the US claims he leads, threw him out some months ago.

It is absolutely forbidden to deprive a country of needed medical supplies. I know with Iran that people were afraid to sell them medical supplies because of the US's threats to them if they proke the US siege. I know in one year the US sanctions of Venezuela caused the death of 40,000 civilians in the main due to not being able to give needed medical attention. The UN is right to want to bring the US to the ICC for crimes against humanity and now potential Genocide.
